Day 1 Zhengzhou - Jinzhong - Pingyao(411 km)

Early in the morning, we will travel to Jinzhong to see the Wang Grand Courtyard. We will also be able to attend an optional theatrical performance.

Day 2 Pingyao - Yingxian(239 km)

Today, we will visit the ancient city of Pingyao. We can also see an optional puppet show or take a paper-cutting lesson. We will spend the night in Yingxian.

Day 3 Yingxian - Beijing(486 km)

After breakfast, we will visit the wooden tower pagoda of Fogong Temple. After lunch, we will visit the Hanging Temple. At the end of the day, we will transfer back to Beijing.

    A temple built into a cliff (75 m or 246 ft above the ground) near Mount Heng in Hunyuan County, Datong City, Shanxi province. Day 4 Beijing - Datong(265 km)

In the morning, we will head to Datong. For lunch, we will visit a delicatessen street. After that, we will visit the Yungang Grottos.

    Ancient Chinese Buddhist temple grottoes near the city of Datong in Shanxi province. The site is composed of 252 grottoes with more than 51,000 Buddha statues and statuettes. In 2001, it were made a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 5 Datong - Taiyuan(278 km)

Today we set out Taiyuan to explore Yanmen Pass, which is a military defense project, become the most ancient northern China a solid defense line.

Taiyuan, meaning "Great Plains", is the provincial capital and was founded more than 2,500 years ago. Situated in the middle reaches of the Yellow River, it has become an industrial powerhouse and the base of China's coal industry.

Day 6 Taiyuan - Jincheng(266 km)

In the morning, we will leave Taiyuan and drive to Jincheng, where we will visit the former Residence of Chen Tingjing.

Jincheng is located in the southeast corner of Shanxi province. It is an industrial city in an area where coal mining is an important industry.

    Home of Chen Tingjing, the minister of Personnel of the Qing Dynasty, who was a teacher of the Emperor Kangxi. The constructions make the most of the hillside, displaying a multiple confuguration of houses, courtyards and gardens.

Day 7 Jincheng - Jiaozuo - Zhengzhou(109 km)

In the morning, we will travel to Jiaozuo. A 2-hour journey with stopover in a local food street market with plenty delicious local lunch options. After lunch, we will visit Yuntai Mountain. Later, we will drive to Zhengzhou.

A prefecture-level city in northern Henan province, China. Jiaozuo is located adjacent to the Yellow River and is just south of the Taihang Mountain.

    On February 13, 2004, Yuntai Mountain was named the world's first World Geopark by UNESCO. Yuntai waterfall, situated within Yuntai Geopark, with a fall of 314 metres, is claimed as the tallest waterfall in China.
