Day 1 Washington DC - Luray Caverns - Skyline Drive in Shenandoah(121 miles)

We will depart in the morning for Virginia. Upon our arrival in this scenic state, we will head to Virginia's beautiful Shenandoah Valley to visit Luray Caverns, which perhaps are best known caverns for the Great Stalactite Organ. In the afternoon we will enter the Shenandoah National Park to take the beautiful skyline drive. We will also take an easy walk on one of the trails among the mountains.

Luray is a town in Page County, Virginia, United States. It is the headquarters for Shenandoah National Park.The most well-known attraction is Luray Caverns, These natural landscape attracted a lot of visitors.

Day 2 Biltmore Estate - Pigeon Forge(92 miles)

In the morning, we will travel to the Biltmore Estate(180 minutes) in North Carolina, a French Renaissance style house built by George Vanderbilt II, where we can overlook the Great Smoky Mountains National Park nor far from the gardens. We will drive to the highest point in The Great Smoky Mountains, at 6,643feet, Clingmans Dome (60 minutes). It is the highest point in Tennessee, and the third highest mountain east of the Mississippi. Walking along the Clingmans Dome trail, feels like walk into the cloud, at the observation tower on the summit offers spectacular 360 views of the Smokies. After that, we will reach the Newfound Gap (20 minutes) we can enjoy the beautiful scene of the great mountains located right at the border between Tennessee and North Carolina. Tennessee's most famous family resort, where visitors can participate in a western horse dinner show (at your own expense) - Dixie Stampede (90 minutes). After dinner, we will check into our hotel for the night.
