Day 1 Vilnius
As guests arrive to Vilnius, they can arrange for an optional transfer to the hotel. Once everyone is present and checked in, there will be a welcome meeting.
Day 2 Vilnius (56 km)
Vilnius is famous for having over 1,200 medieval buildings and 48 churches. In the morning, we will take a sightseeing tour that visits places in the Old Town like the Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Tower, Peter and Paul Church, St. Anne's Church, the Old University and the Gates of Dawn. In the afternoon, we can take an optional excursion to Trakai, the medieval capital of Lithuania, to see the well-preserved Trakai Castle, located on an island in Lake Galve. In the evening, we will enjoy an optional folklore dinner at Restaurant Belmontas.
Day 3 Vilnius - Riga (295 km)
On our way out of Vilnius, our first stop will be the Hills of Crosses, one of the holiest sites in Lithuania. After crossing into Latvia, we will come to the magnificent Rundale Palace, the former summer residence of the Duke of Courland. After touring the palace, we will continue through the rolling hills of Southern Latvia, arriving in Riga in the late afternoon.
Day 4 Riga - Jurmala (43 km)
We will have a walking tour of the Old Town Riga includes Riga Castle, the Dome Cathedral, St. Peter's Church, the Swedish Gate, the Three Brothers, the Large and Small Guilds and the Freedom Monument. The afternoon is reserved for an optional visit to Jurmala, the vibrant Latvian sea resort, famous for its wooden architecture and sandy beaches. The evening offers an optional organ concert at the Dome Cathedral.
Day 5 Riga - Sigulda - Riga (135 km)
In the morning, we will have an optional morning tour that takes guests to the Gauja National Park and the town of Sigulda. We will hear local legends of the Rose of Turaida and see the ruins of the Episcopal Castle and the Castle of the Knights of the Sword before we return to Riga. In the afternoon, we can take an optional excursion to the Riga Motor Museum. In the evening, we will enjoy an optional Latvian dinner at the stylish Restaurant Forest.
Day 6 Riga - Tallinn (334 km)
Today, we will drive along the coastal highway in Estonia to the summer resort of Parnu, where we will take a short tour before continuing through the forests of northern Estonia on our way to Tallinn, arriving in the early afternoon.
Day 7 Tallinn
Tallinn holds a charming blend of medieval tranquility and modern urban life. The Old Town is busy during the summer because of its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafes and restaurants. The sightseeing tour will take us around the old medieval city where we will see Toompea Castle, Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Old Town Hall and the Great Guild Hall. In the afternoon, we will take an optional excursion to Kadriorg Park and KUMU, the new award-winning art museum. In the evening, we will have the option of enjoying a medieval dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 8 Tallinn
Guests will be transferred to the airport in Tallinn on their own or arrange for an optional transfer.
