Day 1

Hippo Tours are unique tours that take you around the city, traveling both on land and water. We have specially designed amphibious vehicles that carry 40 passengers and function as both bus and boat. During your continuous 90 minute trip on board the Hippo, you will see many of Victoria's best attractions, while also getting a glimpse of local life. You will enjoy a relaxing tour around the city before splashing into the Pacific Ocean for the second half of your journey. Join us on one of our three buses, Harry, Happy, and Henrietta. With our knowledgeable staff and tour guides, you will experience a trip like never before on the Bus That floats!
Some of our many tour highlights include:The Fairmont Empress Hotel, Bastion Square, Royal BC Museum, BC Parliament Buildings, Beacon Hill Park, Government Street, Chinatown, and Victoria's Inner Harbour.

BC Parliament Buildings

The British Columbia Parliament Buildings are where the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia meet. They are located in Victoria, British Columbia, at the southern tip of Vancouver Island. Visitors can marvel at the Baroque architecture and sprawling lawns.

Beacon Hill Park

Beacon Hill Park, located in Victoria, British Columbia, contains hiking trails, a waterpark, two playgrounds, a petting zoo, and botanical gardens, among many other attractions. Loved by locals and tourists alike, the 200-acre park has something for everyone.

Chinatown Victoria

The oldest Chinatown in Canada is located on the Pacific coast of British Columbia in the city of Victoria. This artistic and cultural center has features such as its famous Chinese Gate, which is guarded by lion statues.

Tours depart hourly from 470 Belleville Street every day between 11:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., from May 20 to Sept 30. The 4:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M. tours require a minimum of 4 passengers in order to depart. Not all departure times may be available due to low tide, private events or other conditions.

Confirmation

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print and bring e-ticket(s) on your trip, as they serve as proof of purchase.

The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Gotobus by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
Cancellation penalties per person as follows:
Up to 30 days prior to departure - 20% of total purchase amount
29-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
Less than 14 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
Should the canceling party be able to find a replacement for themselves no less than 14 days prior to departure and the replacement completes this booking form individually, no cancellation fee. However, should no replacement be found by 14 days prior to departure, a 100% cancellation penalty will apply to the canceling party.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
Prices may vary and are subject to availability by season, weekend, and/or holiday.
While we will make every effort to maintain a regular operation, we reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip and issue a full refund to affected customers under special circumstances.
We reserve the right to modify the tour arrangements for smooth operation of the tour.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Gotobus' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.

Do I need to make a reservation in advance? And if so what number should I call.

Yes you do need to. All reservations are made online e actually don't take reservations over the phone due to security purposes
