Day 1 Vancouver - Kelowna - Okanagan - Salmon Arm/Revelstoke(278 miles)

We will begin our journey by driving along the Trans-Canada Highway, heading east to Kelowna, the heart of the Okanagan Valley. In the area, we will visit a renowned winery to learn the basics of the wine-making process and sample some of the flavors they produce. We will also see Lake Okanagan. We will spend the night in either Salmon Arm or Revelstoke.

It is one of the warmest regions in all of Canada. During the summer months, visitors are offered countless sandy beaches, hot sun, and a variety of outdoor and water activities. It is also a spectacular backdrop to the golf courses and Okanagan wineries and popular ski resorts.

Day 2 Salmon Arm/Revelstoke - Banff National Park - Banff(182 miles)

We will enter Banff National Park via Rogers Pass and Yoho National Park. Then we will take Gondola Ride, visit Bow Falls and stroll along Banff Avenue.

Canada's oldest national park-- and one of the first national parks in the world-- is home to an icy but gorgeous landscape.

    The Bow Falls are a 30-foot-high, 100-foot wide waterfall just outside the city of Banff. The falls are popular with tourists because they are just a short walk from the town and can be reached on foot from most hotels.

Day 3 Lake Louise - Jasper National Park - Icefield - Glacier Skywalk - Golden/Valemount(271 miles)

Today we will begin with an amazing tour of Banff National Park that will take us to sights such as Lake Louise and the Columbia Icefield. We will also visit Jasper National Park, home to the new Glacier Skywalk that lets guests walk out over the icy canyons, as well as theAthabasca Glacier. We will spend the night in Golden or Valemount.

    The Columbia Icefield in the northern part of Banff National Park covers an area of about 200 square miles in the Canadian Rockies. The Icefield feeds eight major glaciers in the area, including Athabasca Glacier and Dome Glacier.

Day 4 Golden/Valemount - Kamloops - Vancouver(622 miles)

Today we will head to Vancouver, BC. On our way we will stop in Kamloops, BC to visit the Sunmore Ginseng Factory. Continue our drive and arrive at Vancouver in the late afternoon. Please see "Departure and Return Details" for more information.
