This tour will begin in Ushuaia. Leaving this city, we will travel through the peat bog covered valleys of the southernmost outstretches of the Fuegian Andes. Along the road, we will appreciate Carbajal, Tierra Mayor, and Las Cotorras Valleys, where at winter seasons is possible to practice cross-country skiing and other winter activities.
We will cross the Andes at Garibaldi Point, which provides spectacular views of the lakes Escondido and Fagnano. Then, we will descend from the mountains to absorb the surroundings at these lakes. We will then visit the Martinez Sawmill that rests along Lake Fagnano, which provides an interesting glimpse into the local history and economy. We will later continue into Las Cotorras Valley for a barbecue lunch before returning to Ushuaia to end the tour.
