Day 1: Toronto - Frankenmuth - Saginaw County - Grand Rapids (611 km)

In the morning we will depart from Toronto, across Sarnia into America. We will arrive in Frankenmuth and visit the famous Bavarian Inn. We will have the chance to taste German Style Dinner. After that we will go to Birch Run Premium Outlets.

We will observe sprawling Chicago from the observatory at the top of the John Hancock Center. Then, we will visit the Shedd Aquarium and take a cruise in the city. We will also walk along the Magnificent Mile.

  • If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.
  • Note: customers must join three of above optional activities which are in season. Or additional tour surcharge of $50 per person will be applied.
  • Air fares between your city and Toronto
  • Personal room fees such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.
  • All meals and drinks during the trip, but the tour guide will arrange for.
  • A mandatory service fees are not included. Minimum CAD $16.00 per person per day to the Driver and Guide.

Additional Note

  • Booking: If you are making a booking within 14 days of departure, please book airline tickets after your tour booking is confirmed, tour booking will be confirmed within 2-3 business days.
  • Seating Arrangement: To be fair, the tour guide is responsible for the daily tourist car seating arrangements, the guest should be arranged according to the table. (First 4 rows in the tour bus are VIP seats. You can book first 4 row seats for CAD $48/ person/ 3 days)
  • On Site Change: If you need change, please inform 72 hours prior to departure. As a result of changes and delays, we will not be responsible and will not accept any change within 72 hours (during the long weekend to 5 days in advance).
  • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese).
  • No smoking in all hotels
  • Passport/Visa: U.S. and Canadian side - A valid passport and visa (if applicable) are required to enter Canada. Guests should be responsible for all the documents and IDs that are necessary for their travel. (Passport Valid for at least 6 Months, USA Visa, Return Ticket and PR Card). For those who need a passport (valid for at least 6 months), please have your US visa ready in advance. For guests with a Chinese passport and US visa, please go online for the "EVUS" and print it out for the customs. We will not take responsibility if a member of the tourist group is declined entry at the border, and also no refund or no change to a different tourist group allowed.
  • If the guest absent from the group temporarily without prior notice, we will have the right to claim the penalty from the absent guest.
  • No smoking in all hotels or there will be a penalty.

Confirmation

  • Immediately upon completing your reservation, you will receive a booking confirmation receipt via email.

Redemption

  • The complete operator information and local contact numbers for your destination will be included on your e-ticket. It's essential to keep a copy of the e-tickets with you during your trip, as they serve as your proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
  • Cancellation penalties per person (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
    7 or more days prior to departure - $75/person
    4-6 days prior to departure - $150/person
    Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
