Day 1 Toronto Arrival

Arrive at Pearson International Airport, Toronto. Individual transfer to your centrally-located hotel. After checking in with your tour director, the remainder of the day is free. Overnight in Toronto.

Day 2 Toronto

Today you will discover the many identities of this cosmopolitan city on a sightseeing tour of Toronto. Highlights include the provincial Parliament Buildings, City Hall, the financial district, Chinatown, residential areas, the waterfront. Admission to the CN Tower, standing 335.33 metres tall, is included. We will also ride the glass-fronted elevators to the top and take in unforgettable views of Toronto and Lake Ontario. The remainder of the day is free for independent exploration, shopping or simple relaxation. Overnight in Toronto.

Day 3 Toronto - Thousand Islands - Montreal (511 km)

Departing early, we enjoy a pleasant drive east. Following the North shore of Lake Ontario, we pass endless miles of rolling farmland. Our first destination is the beautiful Thousand Islands resort region, where we embark upon a relaxing cruise. After taking in the sights and sounds of this river playground, we re-board our tour coach for the drive to Montreal. Overnight in Montreal.

Day 4 Montreal

Take a sightseeing tour of Montreal today. Highlights of this fully-narrated tour area include: a photo stop at the beautiful Notre-Dame Basilica (entrance not included), the residential and financial districts, historic Old Montreal, St. Joseph Oratory (photo stop), a view of the campus of McGill University and a panoramic view from an observation point on top of Mont Royal. Day 5 Montreal - Quebec City - Montreal (525 km)

Take a full-day excursion to Quebec City, the provincial capital and discover the historical treasures and wonderful "joie de vivre" atmosphere of Quebec City. Your expert guide provides narration as you tour through the only walled city in North America. Highlights include the Upper and Lower Towns, the Parliament Buildings, the Plains of Abraham, the Citadel of Quebec, Chateau Frontenac, Place d'Armes, Quebec National Assembly and the Notre Dame Basilica. A visit to Montmorency Falls, 30 meters higher than the world famous Niagara Falls, and a 1.5 hour cruise of the St. Lawrence River is also included. Overnight in Montreal.

Day 6 Quebec City (371 km)

This day is at your leisure to further explore the sights of this charming World Heritage Site. You can enjoy an optional full day excursion to Tadoussac including 3-hour of whale watching tour on the St. Lawrence River at the mouth of the Saguenay River. Step aboard a regular boat and go in search of the world's largest mammals. You will also visit the spectacular Montmorency Fallsthat are 30 metres higher than the world-famous Niagara Falls. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore this historic French-Canadian city with narrow streets and unique boutiques. Overnight in Quebec City.

Day 7 Quebec City - Ottawa (460 km)

Following the shore of the St.Lawrence, this morning we travel west past Montreal, across the Ontario border, and on to Ottawa- the nations's capital. We will stop for lunch along the way at the Sucrerie de la Montagne, an authentic sugar shack and pioneer-style restaurant. Upon arrival to Ottawa we take a tour of Ottawa. We view the Parliament Building, residences of the Prime Minister and the Governor General, Rideau Canal(designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site), and much more. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Ottawa.

Day 8 Ottawa [Free w/ Turtle Island Breakfast]

This morning, we will enjoy an authentic Turtle Island Aboriginal Breakfast on Victoria Island. The afternoon is free for independent exploration of Ottawa's many museums and fine galleries, shopping at the Sparks Street Mall or perhaps a boat cruise on one of the city's many water-ways. Overnight in Ottawa.

Day 9 Ottawa - Algonquin Provincial Park - Midland (410 km)

Our journey west from Ottawa will take us past sparkling lakes, rushing streams, deep forests and characteristic northern towns. The trip will be highlighted by a visit to Algonquin Provincial Park where we will take a walk along the scenic trails. This immense wildlife and forest preserve is a favourite destination for camping expeditions during the summer months, and your walk will give your the opportunity to experience a little of it for yourself. Soon, we enter the Muskoka resort region, our destination for the night. Overnight in Midland, ON.

Day 10 Midland - Niagara Falls (195 km)

This morning, upon their arrival to Sainte-Marie among the Hurons, guests will have breakfast. This fascinating three-acre historic site is a detailed reconstruction of the first inland European community in Canada. Next, they will drive south past Toronto and then through the orchards and vineyards of the Niagara Peninsula with a final destination of Niagara Falls. A thrilling boat ride on the Hornblower Niagara Cruise- VIP Boat Tour brings them to the foot of the thundering waterfalls for an unforgettable experience. They will take a ride to the top of the Skylon Tower providing a spectacular view of the falls and the surrounding district of Niagara. Afterwards, they can enjoy an optional Niagara Falls Helicopter Tour that gives them a breathtaking view of Niagara Falls and the surrounding regions or visit IMAX theatre for spectacular movie about the falls projected on a floor-to-ceiling dome. The evening is free for exploring North America's "honeymoon capital". Guests will spend the night in Niagara.

Day 11 Niagara Falls - Niagara-on-the-Lake - Toronto (69 km)

We will depart from Niagara Falls in the morning.Our drive follows the scenic Niagara Parkway through the historic village of Niagara-on-the-Lake, home of the Shaw Festival. Here we see a small but thriving community, proud to display a carefully-preserved nineteenth-century atmosphere. This afternoon completes the tour with a short drive back to Toronto. This evening features our special "Farewell to Canada" dinner at the CN Tower. Overnight in Toronto.

Day 12 Toronto

A time for last-minute shopping and sad farewells. Individual transfer to Pearson International Airport, Toronto, in time to check in for your return flight.
