Day 1 Sedona

Guests will be picked up from the specified departure locations in Sedona. Today, we will travel through time on the 100 year-old wagon road that the pioneers used to travel northward to Flagstaff and beyond, taking in panoramic views as we reach an elevation of 7,500 feet, gazing at Sedona down below. We will pass through three different ecological life zones as we reach the largest continuous area of Ponderosa Pines. We will see Snoopy Rock, Merry-Go-Round Rock, Munds Mountain, Mitten Ridge, Wilson Mountain, and more. This trail is a photographers dream, evidenced by the fact it has been used in many movies. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.
