Day 1: Tour Options

Option 1: Seattle - Vancouver (142 miles)

Today we will gather in Seattle. After pickup from the airport, we will take an excursion of the city that includes a brief stop at Space Needle. At the end of the day we will transfer to the hotel in Vancouver, BC.

Today we will gather in Vancouver. Our guide will meet you at the airport for transfer to the hotel. After, guest who arrive before 1:30 pm will take a half-day tour of the city that includes stops at Canada Place, Vancouver Convention Center, Olympic Cauldron and Stanley Park etc, and take a mini ferry ride to Granville Island.

    Granville Island is a peninsula off of the main hub of the city of Vancouver, a shopping district across the water from the downtown area, as well as a center of art and culture for the city.

Day 2: Vancouver - Victoria - Vancouver (141 miles)

In the morning we will take the ferry to Victoria, BC. Our day will be spent touring this city. Stops on our tour include the Butchart Gardens, Beacon Hill Park, and BC Parliament Buildings. At the end of the day we will return to Vancouver by ferry or by seaplane (surcharge applies).

    An area of southwestern Beacon Hill Park at Douglas Street in Victoria, British Columbia is the beginning of Canada's Number 1 Highway, which stretches the entire length of the country. A monument marks "mile zero" to visitors.

    Thunderbird Park

    This historic and cultural park in the heart of Victoria is decorated with an assortment of authentic totem poles carved by several different First Nations peoples. The park is also home to historic buildings from the mid-1800s.

Day 3: Vancouver - Whistler - Vancouver (150 miles)

Today we will start the journey along the Sea to Sky Highway, pass by Horseshoe Bay, Stawamus Chief to the Whistler Ski Resort. After a ride of the Whistler Mountain Gondola and Peak 2 Peak Gondola, we will relax and shop at the mountain or in the village. We will return to Vancouver by bus or by seaplane (surcharge applies) in the late afternoon.

Day 4: Vancouver - Hope - Merritt - Ginseng Factory - Valemount (352 miles)

We will start our journey via the Trans-Canada Highway. Passing through Hope and Merritt, we will head for the only GMP certified Ginseng factory in Kamloops. We will stroll through Well's Gray Provincial Park and settle down in Valemount.

Day 5: Valemount - Jasper National Park (54 miles)

We will make a brief stop at Mt. Robson, have a peaceful moment at Pyramid Lake and Patricia Lake in Jasper National Park. After visiting Athabasca Falls, we will ride abroad on a specially designed vehicle Ice Explorer and feel the Athabasca Glacier. We will step out on Glacier Skywalk where glass is all that separates you from birds soaring below. We will enjoy the night in wooden resort at Icefields Parkway, the heart of the Rockies.

Day 6: Jasper National Park - Banff National Park - Banff (154 miles)

We will take the optional Helicopter Tour in the morning! Then we will continue to Peyto Lake, Moraine Lake (subject to road condition) and stroll along Lake Louise. We will enjoy lunch at the Chateau Lake Louise (meal plan). We will also ride the Gondola to catch a spectacular view of the Rockies. Later, we will head to Town of Banff and explore at your own pace.

Day 7: Banff National Park - Drumheller - Calgary (249 miles)

We will proceed to Bow Fall, Lake Minnewanka and Two Jack Lake. We will enjoy leisure time around the city of Calgary after taking a photo at Calgary Tower. Next we will head to Drumheller, discover the biggest dinosaur, visit Royal Tyrrell museum and Hoodoos. We will stay overnight in Calgary.

Day 8: Calgary - Johnston Canyon - Yoho National Park - Vernon (288 miles)

We will explore Johnston Canyon with roaring water, breathtaking cliffs and rushing waterfalls in the morning. Then we will enter Yoho National Park, visit Takakkaw Falls, Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge. After passing through Golden and Kicking Horse Path, we will head to the "Last Spike". We will stay overnight in Vernon.

Day 9: Vernon - Kelowna - Okanagan - Vancouver (278 miles)

Today we will proceed to Kelowna. Next we will search for monster "Ogopogo" from the First Nations' history at Lake Okanagan. We will taste certified organic wine at the most visited winery. Later we will return to Vancouver via Fraser Valley by dusk.

Guests will be able to spend today free at their own leisure by shopping or dining. If guests depart after 3:00 pm, they will get a bonus with complimentary Vancouver Designer Outlet shopping. Then, they will transfer to the airport in Vancouver for their departure flights. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding when to schedule departure flights.

    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. The refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds 30 days after completion of the tour.
  • Rockies hotel upgrade is non-refundable once booking confirmed.
  • Prices may vary subject to availability/season/weekend/holiday.
  • We reserve right to cancel a schedule to fully refund affected customers although we will make every effort to maintain the regular operation.
