Day 1 Mt. Rainier National Park(115 miles)

Today, we will visit Mount Rainier National Park. Upon arrival, we will see Christine Falls, Narada Falls and Paradise Road. Later in the afternoon, we will return to Seattle.

Please note: Due to a severe winter weather condition, Mt. Rainier National Park has been temporarily closed from Jan 6, 2019. Instead, we will take a 1-Day shopping tour at Seattle Premium Outlets during the closure of Mt. Rainier National Park.

Mount Rainier National Park is named for Mount Rainier itself, the tallest peak in the United States and an active volcano predicted to massively erupt sometime in the next decade. Still, more than a million people visit its slopes each year.

If the Mt. Rainier National Park closed, we will visit Seattle Premium Outlets instead.
Admission (Mandatory): Adult $35; Child (3-12 yrs) $25; Senior (Over 62 yrs) $35

This city in the top-left corner of the United States is a major seaport as well as a cultural center. Whether you want to enjoy the scenery, grab some great coffee, or learn history, Seattle has something to offer.

This was a good tour. We were transported in a comfortable car. The driver (Kevin) was friendly and nice. He pointed out some interesting things and gave some information as well. We had 3 stops and saw the museum, the Narada Waterfall and a long stop at Paradise where we had the opportunity to rent snow shoes from the Visitor Center and go hiking on Mt. Rainier. Kevin was really nice and very accommodating. We wanted to stop and capture some spectacular views and Kevin did his best to help us with these. It was a great trip!
