Day 1 San Francisco-Sausalito-San Francisco(19 miles)

Passengers will be picked up at Bay Area hotels in the early morning. Today we will head to Muir Woods National Monument. This unique park is significant for being an old-growth coastal redwood forest, one of the few left in the area.

For about two hours, you'll get to gaze up into the forest's canopy. Hike or walk through the forest as you admire some of the tallest redwood trees in the world. The San Francisco Muir Woods Expedition also includes an optional stop at the Golden Gate Bridge with a lunch stop in Sausalito.

At the end of the day, we will return to the departure points for dropoff. See "Depature and Return Details" for more information.
