Day 1 San Francisco

Today we will gather in San Francisco. Guests should take the free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and check in on their own.

Day 2 Bay Area - Monterey - Carmel(152 miles)

Our first stop will be Monterey Bay Aquarium. and from there we will continue on to make the 17-Mile Drive along Monterey Bay and visit the nearby village of Carmel, CA.

Monterey was the capital of Alta California under both Spain and Mexico. It was the only port of entry for taxable goods in California. In 1846 the U.S. flag was raised over the Customs House, and California became part of the United States after the ensuing Mexican-American War.

Today, we will drive into Napa Valley, the world-renowned wine region of California, where we will visit a vineyard to participate in a wine tasting, for an additional fee. In the evening, we will return to San Francisco.

This region between San Francisco and Sacremento is internationally famous for its wines, which are considered among the best in the world. Visitors can tour many of the more than four hundred vineyards and wineries that dot the area.
