Today we will gather in San Francisco at San Francisco International Airport. If you take a domestic flight will meet us in the Baggage Claim Area. If you take an international flight will meet us at the exit outside.

We'll visit the campus of UC Berkeley in the morning. Then hop on the world's last manually operated cable car system Cable Car. We will depart from the hotel today and head to picturesque Monterey, finding gentle sea breezes, meandering coastline, surging waves, interesting rock formations, and adorable seals and sea lions resting on the beach. We will drive along 17 Miles, a scenic highway that hugs the coast along a stretch of California's Highway 1. Then, we will have the option to visit the Monterey Aquarium, a must-see for all visitors, and a home to over 6500 species of marine life including colorful fishes and deep-sea monsters. We will return to Los Angeles in the evening. Guests will be dropped off, bringing an end to this tour. See "Departure and Return Details" for detailed information.

Monterey was the capital of Alta California under both Spain and Mexico. It was the only port of entry for taxable goods in California. In 1846 the U.S. flag was raised over the Customs House, and California became part of the United States after the ensuing Mexican-American War.

Afterwards, we will make our way to Los Angeles, where the tour will end upon our arrival. Yosemite National Park in central California is best known for the amazing granite cliffs of the Yosemite Valley as well as the towering Yosemite Falls and Sequoias. Millions of people every year journey to this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Tour guide Vivian is really friendly and really cares about her team. She explains each location really well. Enjoyed my tour alot. The only down side is only 1 hour for the aquarium, which i feel is definitely not enough time.
