Leaving behind San Francisco, we will head to Santa Cruz, on the northern edge of Monterey Bay, to see the Municipal Wharf, the longest pier on the West Coast, where we will find the best in seaside shopping, dining, and recreation. We will later continue to Bear Mountain and stop where we can visit the Roaring Camp and stroll among Redwood trees. Next, we will visit the Gilroy Premium Outlets, California's largest designer clothes factory outlet. Afterwards, we will return to San Francisco.

The steam trains that run along Roaring Camp Railroads' lines are authentic, dating back to 1867 and the protection of an area of redwoods known as the "Big Trees." The railway was established in 1875 to carry tourists there.

Gilroy is the southernmost city in Santa Clara County, California. Gilroy is well known for its garlic crop and for the annual Gilroy Garlic Festival, featuring various garlicky foods, including garlic ice cream.
