This tour combines two of the most popular excursions in the Salzburg area. Beginning after guests have met at the specified departure location in Salzburg, we will venture into the beautiful Salzkammergut region. The first part of our tour will take us to various filming locations from the beloved cinema classic "The Sound of Music," as well as providing us with intriguing information about the history and culture of the area. Then, during the second leg of the day, we will travel to one of Salzkammergut's famous Salt Mines, a remarkable underground world where a knowledgeable and experienced guide will amaze us with trivia about the history of salt mining. Deep in the caves, we will be able to enjoy a ride down one of the original miner slides, which is fun for all ages. Afterwards, we will return to Salzburg, where the tour will come to an end. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.
