Day 1 Salvador-Praia do Forte-Salvador(162 km)

Guests will be picked up from their hotels in Salvador to begin this tour. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations. Located about 70km from Salvador, we will find Praia do Forte, nicknamed the "Brazilian Polynesia." Its 12 km of beaches provide a whole range of leisurely pursuits. During this tour, we will visit Projeto TAMAR, the sea turtle conservation project, and a local fishing village. Then, we will relax as we bathe in the sea at Praia de Guarajuba, famous for its warm waters and tide pools. At the end of the tour, we will return to Salvador, where guests will be dropped off at their hotels.

About 70 km north of Salvador, you will find this lovely beach community, nicknamed the "Brazilian Polynesia" for its picturesque quality. It is a great location for beach activities like surfing and paragliding, as well as horseback rides.
