Day 1

Guests will be picked up from their hotels in Salvador to begin this tour. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations. Located about 70km from Salvador, we will find Praia do Forte, nicknamed the "Brazilian Polynesia." Its 12 km of beaches provide a whole range of leisurely pursuits. During this tour, we will visit Projeto TAMAR, the sea turtle conservation project, and a local fishing village. Then, we will relax as we bathe in the sea at Praia de Guarajuba, famous for its warm waters and tide pools. At the end of the tour, we will return to Salvador, where guests will be dropped off at their hotels.

Praia do Forte, BRAZIL

About 70 km north of Salvador, you will find this lovely beach community, nicknamed the "Brazilian Polynesia" for its picturesque quality. It is a great location for beach activities like surfing and paragliding, as well as horseback rides.

Projeto TAMAR

One of many locations for this wonderful conservation group, Projeto TAMAR's goal is to protect sea turtles. Here, you can see them up close in an environment specially designed to ensure their safety.
Salvador, BRAZIL

Salvador is the capital of the Brazilian state of Bahia. With 2.9 million people, it is the largest city proper in the Northeast Region and the 4th-largest city proper in the country.

Praia de Guarajuba

Along the coast to the north of Salvador, you will find one of the most popular beaches in the Bahia region, good for families and groups of friends, with white sand and coconut trees.

Departure & return

Free hotel pick up is available from all major Salvador at 8:00am (aprox.). Please put your hotel name in the "Hotel Info" area when booking. Exact Pick up time and location will confirm later.
