Day 1 Reykjavik

In the evening, guests will be picked up in Reykjavik. Tonight, we will embark on a mysterious journey in the dark and witness one of the most amazing visual sights in the natural world, the Aurora Borealis, also called the Northern Lights. If the night is clear enough, we will be able to see the lights swirl in a wild and carefree dance across the sky. The exact location where we will observe the lights will be decided on the day of the tour, as variable weather patterns can affect the visibility of the Northern Lights. Afterwards, we will return to Reykjavik, where the tour will come to an end. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

Reykjavik is the capital of Iceland and was founded in 1786. Its important function as a seaport has led to its continual development over the past two-plus centuries. It has been called "the nightlife capital of the north."
