Day 1 Reykjavik-Thingvellir National Park-Golden Circle-Reykjavik(254 km)

After guests have been picked up from their hotels in Reykjavik, we will embark on this tour. This afternoon, we will get the chance to visit some of the most exciting natural phenomena Iceland has to offer. First, we will visit Thingvellir National Park, which is full of unique geological formations. Next, we'll head to the Gullfoss Waterfall, the hot springs of Geysir and Strokkur. Finally, we will take a scenic ride back to Reykjavik, where the tour will end. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

Thingvellir National Park is an UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most popular tourist destination in Iceland. Thingvellir has unusual tectonic and volcanic geological features and visitors can enjoy a wide array of activities including camping, hiking, and scuba diving.

Iceland's Golden Circle is the country's most popular tourist route, featuring several of the top geological formations in the country, such as the geysers of Strokkur and Geysir, as well as the Gullfoss waterfall.

Considered the first geyser discovered by modern Europeans, the eruptions of Geysir can send boiling water up to 70 meters in the air. Only 50 meters away is Strokkur, another famous Icelandic geyser.
