Day 1 Reykjavik - Golden Circle (241 km)

Today, we will enjoy Iceland's beautiful, natural landscape by traveling along the Golden Circle. Along the way, we will see Thingvellir National Park, Geysir and the waterfall Gullfoss. Guests can choose to upgrade their day with an Icelandic horse ride. You will spend the evening in accommodation in the Golden Circle area..

Day 2 Golden Circle - Selfoss - Vik (223 km)

Today we will head to the south shore of Iceland where we will take in views of the waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss. A bit further along, we will see the Solheimajokull glacier tongue towering over the black sands below. We can choose to go glacier hiking. Along the coast, we will see black sand beaches and sea stacks. Around dinner time, we will check into our accommodations in Vik.

Day 3 Vik - Jokulsarlon (154 km)

Today, we will head to the Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon, where we can take an optional boat tour and visit Diamond Beach.
Boat tour have two options; cruise amid these impressive icebergs on an Amphibian boat tour which is ideal for families and larger groups, or you can dodge in-between ice floes on a speedy Zodiac journey which promises smaller group sizes

Day 4 Jokulsarlon - East Fjords - Egilssta­ir (158 km)

Today you will be exploring the beautiful and remote Eastfjords. Travelling through mountainous passes with the ocean to your left, your guide will make a number of stops along these meandering passages. As well as being known for its dramatic fjords, this area is characterised by its breathtaking beaches, littered with multi-coloured pebbles and rocks. We will also enjoy the views of picturesque fishing villages and spend the night in Egilssta­ir.

Day 5 Egilsstaoir - Myvatn (372 km)

Today, we will head to Myvatn. On the way, we will drive through the Jokulsargljugur section on Vatnajokull National Park, visiting the incredible Asbyrgi canyon and Dettifoss. In the nearby village of Husavik, we can take a whale watching cruise. Later on, we will take a dip in the soothing waters of the Myvatn Natural Baths. Afterwards, we will spend the night in Myvatn.

Day 6 Myvatn - Akureyri (91 km)

Today, you will complete your exploration of the Lake Myvatn area with a visit to Dimmuborgir. Leaving the Myvatn region, you will head to the "Capital in the North", Akureyri, but not without a stop at another spectacular waterfall Gooafoss. You will have the rest of the day to discover the many charms of the vibrant city of Akureyri. Wander through its delightful streets and visit its small boutique shops, cafes and a surprising plethora of museums. Go for a dip in the local swimming pool and unwind with the locals in a jacuzzi hot tub, before retiring to accommodation in town.

Day 7 Akureyri - Reykjavik (248 km)

Waking up in Akureyri, you now have the option for a whale-watching tour. In the afternoon, you will be taken to the Akureyri domestic airport to board your flight back to Reykjavik. Although you will be back in Reykjavik in the evening it is highly recommended that you plan your journey back home the next day as bad weather or delays could affect your journey.
