Today, we will spend our free time exploring the Grand Canyon. Departing Phoenix in the morning, we will travel through the Sonoran Desert and red rock areas of Sedona. When we stop at the Navajo Indian Reservation, we will visit a local trading post that has a great selection of arts and souvenirs. Once we arrive at Grand Canyon National Park, we will tour the East Rim and stop at the best scenic viewpoints. Then, we will enjoy some time in the Grand Canyon Village. Alternatively, we can go on a nature walk. We will stay at the Grand Canyon for the evening.
This small city in the Verde Valley region of Arizona attracts visitors from all over with its gorgeous red sandstone rock formations. It is a popular place for outdoor recreational activities like hiking, biking, and mountain climbing.
Considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon was carved over 17 million years by the Colorado River. This breathtaking, 18-mile-long canyon has been stunning visitors for hundreds of years.
Desert View Drive is a scenic route to the east of Grand Canyon Village on the South Rim which follows the rim for 25 miles out to the Desert View Watchtower and East Entrance. Meanwhile, the Watchtower also commands a magnificent view of the Grand Canyon.
Grand Canyon Village was designed to facilitate tourism to the canyon's South Rim and is comprised of numerous facilities such as a visitor's center and two hotels, El Tovar and the Bright Angel Lodge.

Day 2 Grand Canyon (180 miles)
We will have the morning free, during which we can take an optional helicopter tour above the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. If we don't choose this option, we can also enjoy a hike around the rim or take the tram to reach scenic viewpoints. Later in the day, we will drive to Phoenix, where the tour will come to an end. Located just 2 hours from nearby Las Vegas, Nevada, Grand Canyon West boasts the newest visitor attraction, the Grand Canyon Skywalk. Its plexiglass floor extends 70 feet over the edge of the Canyon's rim, allowing visitors to look straight down to the canyon floor 4,000 feet below.

Departure time is between 6:00 - 6:30 am depending on which Hotel we are picking up at. The guest will get a conformation call in the late afternoon a day before the tour with the exact pick up time.

Casual dress is suggested on all tours (shorts, jeans, comfortable shoes). Layered clothing and good footwear is especially suggested for winter months. Sedona is about 10-15 degrees cooler than the Phoenix area.

The guides will focus on getting you to the best sites but also avoiding the crowds.
We are reducing the number of passengers as no more than 8 per vehicle to maintain social separation and distance. Groups larger than 6 are guaranteed their own van.
The vehicles are some of the newest in the area and are already cleaned daily by dedicated staff with adding extra precautionary measures to sanitize high contact areas daily.
We have increased our flexibility on our cancellation policies to allow people that have concerns or are exhibiting illness not to feel you are forced or make an uncomfortable decision.Please notify us as soon as possible.
We have bottled water and stop frequently. Please take advantage of that to stay hydrated and wash your hands. Avoid touching your face as much as possible.
