Day 1: Paris-Le Mont-Saint-Michel-Angers(458 km)

After guests have been picked up from the specified departure location in Paris, we will make or way along the coast in Normandy until we reach Mont Saint Michel around noon. After breaking for lunch, we will begin exploring, ascending to the Abbey, where we will take a tour. Around 4:30pm, we will depart for Angers, where we will spend the night.

    is an island commune in Normandy, France. It is located about one kilometre (0.6 miles) off the country's northwestern coast, at the mouth of the Couesnon River near Avranches. 100 hectares (247 acres) in size, the island has a population of 44 (2009).

    Mont Saint-Michel is a town of 44 people located on an island off the coast of Normandy. The island is dominated by a massive castle that is one of France's most popular landmarks. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

    Mont Saint Michel Abbey

    Located on the miraculous island on Mont Saint-Michel, this abbey is the most prominent building in the town and was essential to the structure of the feudal society.

Day 2: Loire Valley(192 km)

In the morning, we will make a short stop to see the Chateau d'Angers before making our way to the Chateau de Langeais. Then, we will have some free time for lunch in Amboise before taking a guided tour of the Chateau du Clos Luce. After that, we will visit the historic district of Tours, where we will also spend the night.

    Chateau d'Angers

    Built in the 800s AD and then expanded to its current size in the 1200s, this amazing medieval castle towers over the Maine River. It is the home of the incredible Apocalypse Tapestry, and it open to the public.
  • Langeais, FRANCE

    A commune in the Indre-et-Loire department in central France. Langeais has a church of the 11th, 12th and 15th centuries, but is chiefly interesting for its large and historic chateau built soon after the middle of the 15th century by Jean Bourre, minister of Louis XI. Here the marriage of Charles VIII and Anne of Brittany took place in 1491.

    Chateau de Langeais

    This medieval castle and chateau contains structures that were built in the 10th century AD. The bulk of the castle was constructed in the 1400s, and it is considered to be one of the best examples of late medieval architecture.
  • Amboise, FRANCE

    is a commune in the Indre-et-Loire department in central France. It lies on the banks of the Loire River, 17 miles (27 km) east of Tours. Today a small market town, it was once home of the French royal court. The town of Amboise is also only about 11 miles (18 km) away from the historic Chateau de Chenonceau, situated on the Cher River near the small village of Chenonceaux. Its former name was Ambacia, from the old name of the river and marsh Amasse.

    Chateau du Clos Luce

    This small chateau's claim to fame was the years it spent as the official residence of Leonardo da Vinci. It is primarily a museum dedicated to the inventions of the famous Renaissance Man, and includes several models of his ideas.

Day 3: Loire Valley(241 km)

Today, we will take guided visits of the Chateau de Chenonceau and the Chateau de Cheverny, followed by lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the Chateau de Chambord. After that, we will return to Paris. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

    The population of permanent residents hovers about 400, as of 2012, but there is a large influx of tourists during the summer months, because the village adjoins the former royal Chateau de Chenonceau, one of the most popular tourist destinations in France.

    A commune in the French department of Loir-et-Cher. It lies in the Loire Valley, about 10 km (6.2 mi) southeast of Blois. The Château de Cheverny is located at Cheverny.

    Chambord is a town in Loir-et-Cher in France. It is famous for the royal Chateau de Chambord.

    is one of the most recognizable chateaux in the world because of its very distinctive French Renaissance architecture which blends traditional French medieval forms with classical Renaissance structures. The building, which was never completed, was constructed by King Francis I of France.
