Day 1 Paris - Versailles - Fontainebleau - Barbizon - Paris(151 km)

We will begin our day by visiting the Palace of Versailles. King Louis XIV made several significant additions to this luxurious residence, most notable the Grand Apartments and the Hall of Mirrors. The Chapel and Opera were built in the next century under Louis XV. Next, we will continue to visit the Chateau de Fontainebleau, most famous for its horseshoe shaped staircase. Afterwards, we will travel to Barbizon, a commune in the Seine-et-Marne department, best known for the school of painters that were part of the movement towards realism in art. At the end of the day, we will return to Paris around 19:00 pm.
