Day 1 New York - Niagara Falls(394 miles)

Today we leave New York heading West. We cross into the State of New Jersey and continue until we reach the Delaware Water Gap. We will continue until reaching the State of Pennsylvania and continue North by passing the Western side of the famous Catskill Mountains. As we continue to North we will pass beautiful small towns, rivers and lakes until we reach Watkins Glenn Park (in season). We then continue North towards the Finger Lakes. We drive along Lake Seneca, passing the vineyards in the Wine Valley before reaching the beautiful city of Geneva On The Lake. We then continue North until we reach the Border.
Upon crossing the border, we will first stop to see the Niagara Falls from a well observation point before continuing to our hotel. In the evening we will tour the Canadian town of Niagara Falls walking along the Falls as they are lit by various colored lights. Afterwards we could also enjoy our own time at around Casinos, a ferris-wheel and a huge variety of restaurants in the night.

Watkins Glen is a village in Schuyler County, New York. This is the birthplace of the Watkins Glen International, one of the premier automobile road racing tracks in the United States. Sitting on the south shore of Seneca Lake, it is also famous for its beautiful natural sceneries.

The Finger Lakes are located in the west-central section of Upstate New York in the United States. This popular tourist destination consists of eleven lakes and these are: Canadice Lake, Canandaigua Lake, Cayuga Lake, Conesus Lake, Hemlock Lake, Honeoye Lake, Keuka Lake, Otisco Lake, Owasco Lake, Seneca Lake and Skaneateles Lake. The lakes resemble fingers because they are long and narrow.

Known and loved for both their power and their beauty, the Niagara Falls offer an experience unlike any other. More water tumbles down from the Niagara River every minute than any other place in the world.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will go see Niagara Falls from the American side before boarding the amazing Maid of The Mist cruise (*Seasonal) taking us as close as one can get to where the actual Falls. After that we begin to make our way back to New York City. On our way we will stop at factory Waterloo outlet and then arriving in New York City later that evening.

Among the most beautiful natural wonders in the world, Niagara Falls are comprised of three waterfalls that thunder and astound, producing a higher flow rate than any other waterfall in the world and standing at a height of 167 feet.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
