  • The tour was very well planned and organized. Jerry Zhang was awesome, kind and well informed. He kept us informed about what to expect next, whether it was related to the monuments or food or weather. We did the tour on Jan 12 -15, 2024 and visited Philadelphia, DC and Niagara Falls. Trip to Niagara on Jan 14th was a crazy drive through the winter storm. The driver was awesome ( I don’t know his name), very patient, careful even though the roads were extremely bad and visibility was ‘zero’. It took double the time to drive but no complaints, safety is priority #1 for Jerry. We really enjoyed the trip even though temperatures were as low as -17degree Celsius.

  • The tour was amazing! My family and I came to visit the New York area for around 5-6 days so we didn’t have much time to cover everything on our own. Queue in the 3 day 2 night tour- it was exactly what we wanted. Our tour guide Sam was brilliant! He was so engaging and kind, always made sure we were all comfortable, and was very considerate with our requests. He made our whole trip very memorable. The itinerary was perfectly planned with enough time with just about anything, and the cost of this tour is also quite affordable & no fees was hidden. We got to cover quite alot in these three days, and there were enough bus stops for restroom breaks to not feel like we were driving at a stretch. The bus we were on was okay, looked a bit old, but it was clean and manageable. However, on our way back our tour bus was going to Boston while we had to head back to New York, so we shifted to another bus, and the new bus was not so good. Again, it was manageable, but there was stench of urine throughout our 5-6 hour journey back to NY from Buffalo, which was very uncomfortable. The windows did not open also so we couldn’t do anything about it. The bus picked and dropped us very close to our hotel (5 minute walk), and they tried to make sure we reached around sunset (by 9pm we were back at the hotel) If you’re traveling with family (or even alone) and don’t want the hassles of car rentals, google maps, and figuring things out on your own, this tour is the way to go! Just make sure you speak to the tour guide early on to get your preferred seats if you have any, or they will randomly assign you anywhere according to their tourists list.

  • We have just returned from a captivating 3-day tour from New York to Niagara Falls, Washington DC, and Philadelphia, organized by TakeTours. I am writing this review to highly commend the remarkable job done by our tour guide, Kiko Li. From the moment we met Kiko, her contagious enthusiasm and obvious dedication to her role set the tone for what would become an unforgettable trip. Kiko’s comprehensive knowledge about each location we visited, and her ability to share this in an engaging and accessible way, added a depth to our experience that I don’t think we would have had otherwise. What truly sets Kiko apart, however, is her exceptional interpersonal skills. With a diverse group of passengers, Kiko managed to cater to everyone's needs and ensure that each one of us felt included and cared for. She had an uncanny knack for remembering our names, which added a personal touch that did not go unnoticed. Not only did Kiko ensure that our tour was enjoyable, but she also went above and beyond to ensure our safety. Her meticulous organization and clear communication meant we knew exactly where we needed to be and when. She made sure everyone had a safe and reliable ride to their accommodations, including securing Uber rides. This kind of attention to detail allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the tour without having to worry about the logistics. Moreover, the kindness she displayed towards our toddler is something we will always remember. Seeing her sing and gently pat our little one to sleep was a heartwarming sight that showed us her caring nature. It made us feel like we weren't just on a tour, but instead part of a travelling family. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend this TakeTours experience to anyone looking for a memorable and stress-free adventure. If you are lucky enough to have Kiko Li as your guide, I can assure you that your trip will be elevated to an entirely new level. Kiko, thank you for turning our tour into a remarkable journey we will cherish forever!
