Day 1 New York - Whiteface Mountain - Lake Placid Town(294 miles)

In the morning, we will depart from New York for Whiteface Mountain. When we arrive, we will ride the Whiteface Mountain Lift to get amazing views of the mountain. Then, we will travel to the High Falls Gorge, where we will be able to see the Ausable River beneath the shadow of the mountain. We will then set off on a scenic rafting adventure on the same waters past spectacular rock formations. Then, we will depart for Lake Placid, where we will shop on Main Street before exploring the Olympic Center.

This massive park is the largest of its kind in the country, as well as the largest National Historic Site. It encompasses all of upstate New York's Adirondack Mountains as well as some of the surrounding areas.

Day 2 Ausable Chasm - Lake George - New York(380 miles)

We will start the day at the Ausable Chasm, where we will get the opportunity to descend hundreds of feet as we walk along the natural stone walkways in the area. Our second stop will be Lake George in the Adirondacks, where we will board the Minnehaha, which has a glass-enclosed engine for those who want to see it at work. In the evening, we will return to New York City, where the tour will come to an end.
