Day 1 New York-Hyde Park-New York(163 miles)

After a long, hot summer, it's time to go apple-picking! After guests have been picked up from the specified departure location in New York City in the morning, we will go to the largest apple orchard in the Hudson Valley, the country's second-largest apple-producing area, which harvest Empire, red, Fuji, and Macoun apples. If this tour occurs at the same time, we will stop by the local apple harvest festival. After this, we will go to Hyde Park to visit the Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt, the 32nd U.S. president. We will also be able to visit President FDR's Presidential Library and Museum as well Rose Garden where the President was buried. Afterwards, we will return to New York City, where the tour will come to an end. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

Hyde Park is most famous for being the hometown of 32nd U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Hyde Park is the location of The Culinary Institute of America, a residential college devoted to culinary and pastry arts.
