Nashville is the capital of Tennessee. The city is a center for the music, make sure you visit the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Grand Ole Opry House, and the Ryman Auditorium.
My wife and I just finished the “4-Day Tennessee, Great Smoky Mountains, Chattanooga Tour from New York/New Jersey(TN4) Start Date: 2023-06-15 Thu End Date: 2023-06-18 Sun” Sunny was our tour guide and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. He is not only competent at what he does, but he is also very friendly and helpful and has a “sunny” disposition! His English is also good enough to understand.
we expected this trip; only one thing dispoint due to the second day, also it's the most promont day in smokey mountain, big dinner and even cncled, u should knew advance, but let us know until we boarding tour bus;
We are returning customers to Taketours, this time after the wave of COVID. And guys, we absolutely must tell you that this tour (we joined from Rockville, MD) is truly a HIDDEN GEM, that nearly nobody appears to know about !!! You might find this a surprise, but yes - we touched 4 states - West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee, all in just matter of 3 days (over 1200 miles). Since our group was too small, it really felt just like a personal tour with a dedicated tour guide. Our tour was led by Jason, and honestly, I still can't tell you if the tour was better or if it was his warm, friendly, cheerful hospitality all the way through and through. Jason is extremely knowledgeable, so very thoughtful and talented in helping specific needs throughout the tour, gave us more than sufficient time to explore each attraction. His choice of hotels, stopover for lunch/dinner was amazing and very personalized. The tour in itself is a great getaway from craziness of MD/VA/DC commute and mundane work routines. The Shenandoah valley, Luray caverns, Skyline drive - all but with pretty sights of black baby bears, deers, hyenas (yup the bears are not scared and did pose for several drivers to photograph)!! Driving by the blue ridge mountains, out into Tennessee over to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge was fantastic and truly memorable!! Gatlinburg has great destinations and attractions for youngsters, children, adults and families. Aerial tramway not to be missed! Like this was not enough, the tour actually offers tickets to the very famous DOLLY PARTON DIXIE STAMPEDE dinner show. And guys, hands down - this has been the BEST SHOW of our life so far ( am not kidding you, for real). But I won't spoil it for you. We strongly advocate that you NOT miss this dinner show AT ANY COST. And oh my god - The Great Smoky Mountains - how so very majestic, what a true GEM, right in the heart of USA. There really is no need to go to Europe or Switzerland, for these mountain ranges (specifically the hike to the Clingman's Dome), will be engraved onto your soul forever. But don't take our word for it, GO SEE IT FOR YOURSELF!! And believe me, nobody organizes it better than Jason at TakeTours !! We can't wait to accumulate vacation days to go for yet another tour with Jason again (we are already thinking about the Acadia National Park tour) - hopefully our paths will cross with you, and we all can visit more places together, with Jason and have the greatest time !!
This was a great, well thought out itinerary. From morning to night we were on the go. Something great every day. The Luray Caverns were spectacular, and I havent been there in many years. The Smoky Mountains were beautiful, and the Titanic Museum was great, although it would have been great to be able to spend more time there as it is so unique. The Dolly Parton Stampede ran like clockwork and the show was good. Everything after that was also great too. On the other hand, our tour guide Kim was not that knowledgeable and was not anywhere near the level of guide we had on other tours. He was more of a travel companion. Also, regarding the tour, The Great Smoky Mountains In-Depth tour was not a tour at all, but instead simply transportation in a bus which overheated going to the top of one of the mountains. We all asked each other about where the in-depth tour was. Finally, each of us was charged $20 for Natural Bridge although when we were there the admission fee was clearly posted and it was $8. I also showed the web page from the Virginia Department of Parks to Kim at the beginning of the trip showing that the admission fee was $8, but he had nothing to say. Nevertheless, aside from these disappointments, the trip was worthwhile.
We took this 4 days bus tour to visit the Smoke mountains. Our tour guide Mr Sunny Shen and Driver Mr. Yaoo were very professional, flexible and Kind. Somehow, on last day of out tour, i lost my wallet in bus which had almost $300 and all my Bank cards and other valuable things. i realize that after reaching home. As soon as i realize i lost the wallet, i called Mr Sunny. He searched inside the bus but didn't find that. later Mr Yaoo informed Mr sunny that they found that in bus when they were cleaning the bus. They informed me right after that and i got that wallet from their office. Mr Sunny & Mr Yaoo are good and honest guy. I really applicate their efforts and help. Thank You for Everything!
We have taken almost all major bus tours on the East Coast and our tour guide Ken Feng was absolutely the best! He's very professional and detail oriented. We learned much about the places we visited as well as the U.S. history. The entire 4 days was fun and relaxing. We hope to travel with Ken again in the future!
Mr. KEN is a pretty energetic tour guid. He explains everything perfectly what's the plan and what people need to follow. He is very punctual to the time. He made the tour pretty comfortable for everyone. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends and family.
This tour was so good amazing view & our tour guide ( Mr Ken) was so good & professional has lot of knowledge about destination I highly recommended this tour with Mr ken .
We did the New Jersey to Tennessee tour from 21st to 24th December. We really enjoyed the trip and it is really memorable. Jake Yang is a wonderful tour guy and the driver was also awesome. Kudos to both.
First of all, tour was great adventure. Our tour guy Ken was friendly and he explained everything clearly and patiently. I want to mention one thing , during driving time bathroom was closed on the bus even though they stopped at service area every 3 hours. I would love to inform to company that bathroom should be open all the time due to emergency, pregnant women and medical issues. It should be understandable those situations. I recommend to everyone to take this tour. It was enjoyable time. I really got a great time.
