Day 1

Discover the famed town of Pompeii, buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 A.D. and preserved nearly intact for centuries. This full-day tour from Naples will show you fascinating archaeological findings, and you'll be amazed by the number of well-preserved villas, shops and public buildings that archaeologists have brought back to light. Your tour will also stop at a local manufacturer of cameos and corals, an ancient craft tradition of this area. After lunch you will visit Vesuvius, and discover the wonders of this place, declared "Biosphere Reserve" by UNESCO. Later on, we will return to Naples.

Pompeii is a vast archaeological site in southern Italy's Campania region. Once a thriving and sophisticated Roman city, Pompeii was buried in meters of ash and pumice after the catastrophic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 C.E.
Naples, ITALY

is the capital of the Italian region Campania and the third-largest municipality in Italy, after Rome and Milan. In 2015, around 975,260 people lived within the city's administrative limits.

Mount Vesuvius

This volcano near Naples is responsible for one of the most famous and catastrophic eruptions in history, which took place in 79 AD and destroyed nearby towns like Herculaneum and Pompeii.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print and bring e-ticket(s) on your trip, as they serve as proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

Cancellation Policy: In case of cancellation notified by the client at least 2 business days before the departure, the total price will be refunded minus a service fee (reservation fee and online booking fee). For cancellations occurring less than 2 business days before the departure and for no shows: 100% of the fee will be due as penalty. The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.

While we will make every effort to maintain a regular operation, we reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip and issue a full refund to affected customers under special circumstances.
