Day 1 Munich-Wurzburg-Rothenburg-Harburg-Munich(1679 km)

Traveling along the Romantic Road, we first reach Harburg, one of the oldest, largest and most well preserved castles in Southern Germany, completed in the late 11th century. Continuing along through Swabian Dinkelsbühl, we arrive in Rothenburg, the most perfectly preserved medieval town in Europe. There will be time for sightseeing, lunch and shopping. Then we return to Munich via the Hallertau, the largest hop-growing region in the world.

Wurzburg is a city in the region of Franconia, northern Bavaria, Germany. Located on the Main River, it is the capital of the Regierungsbezirk of Lower Franconia.

  • The Romantic Road is a tourist route that runs along what was once a primary Medieval trade route. It is popular because it passes by many historic locations, such as Schwangau, Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. It runs from Wurzburg to Fossen.
