Day 1 Montreal-Quebec City-Montreal(486 km)

Passengers will be picked up in Montreal in the early morning. Today we will travel from Montreal to Quebec City, QC. Our tour of the city will take us to places such as the Montmorency Falls, Chateau Frontenac,, and the Historic District of Old Quebec. We will also have an amazing view of the entire city from the Observatoire de la Capitale.

Next, we will head to the Place d'Armes, the governmental square of the city that gets its name from the military demonstrations that take place there. We will visit the local Parliament Building to better understand the workings of Canadian provincial government.

At the end of the day, we will return to the pickup point for dropoff. See "Departure and Return Details" for more information.

Quebec City is one of the oldest cities in North America. It was founded by Samuel de Champlain in 1608, and some of the architecture in Old Quebec dates back centuries. The Chateau Frontenac is the most famous landmark.

I recommend the tour but not the bus. It was freezing cold during the 3-hour trip btw Montreal and Quebec giving us headaches. I requested several times to shut down the air conditioner but no response.

This tour was amazing, the best one around Montreal I have attended. Beautiful landscape and scenery!!! The tour guide, Richard, shared a lot of information with us. I also appreciated that I didn't feel like I was being sold, as I usually feel during bus tours.
