Day 1 Melbourne-Phillip Island-Melbourne(282 km)

This tour is a great way to see the city of Melbourne as well as the breathtaking Penguin Parade. After guests have been picked up from the specified departure location in Melbourne, they will go on a sightseeing tour of the city to the Old Melbourne Gaol, Lygon Street, Melbourne University, the Royal Exhibition Buildings and Museum, Parliament House, Princess Theater, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Captain Cook's Cottage, the Fitzroy Gardens, Flinders Street Station, Federation Square, Collins Street, Queen Victoria Market, and Chinatown.

Then, later on, we will go to Phillip Island Natural Park to see the Penguin Parade on Summerland Beach from the standard viewing at the Penguin Parade from the main stands. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

Melbourne is the state capital of Victoria and the second-most populous city in Australia and Oceania. Because Melbourne rates highly in education, entertainment, health care, research and development, tourism and sport, the EIU consistently ranks it the world's most liveable city.

This island, southeast of Melbourne off of the southern coast of Australia, is known for it's beaches and wildlife preserves. It is a popular tourist destination, in part because penguins can occasionally be seen lounging on the beaches.
