Day 1 Maui-Hana-Haleakala National Park-Maui(82 miles)

This tour shows guests the lush tropical beauty and scenic vistas of the Hana coast of Maui. We will travel through Paia, an old sugar mill town, and along the magnificent coastline past world famous beaches. We will travel to Kaumahina State Park and see the crashing waves of the Keanae Valley Lookout, Waianapanapa State Park and Beach. Along the way, we will enjoy beautiful scenes unfold all around us: rainforests, waterfalls, bamboo jungles, eucalyptus groves and roadside fruit stands. In the Haleakala National Park, Kipahulu District, view tranquil, waterfall-fed pools accessible by only a few tour companies. (Please note that the Haleakala National Park has indefinitely closed the Pools of Oheo for swimming due safety issues from a recent rock slide. The tour will continue to stop at the Pools of Oheo for viewing.)

Maui is the second-largest of the Hawaiian Islands and has been called the "Best Island in the World." Popular spots on the island include Hāna Highway, Haleakalā National Park, and Wailea-Makena. More than two million people visit annually.
