Day 1 Madrid - Caceres - Seville (515 km)
After picked up from Madrid at 8:00am in the morning, we will head to the region of Extremadura, where we will make a first stop in Caceres. We will have 1.5 hours there where we will visit the main highlights, those are very close to each other and located in the city center. We will visit the Plaza Mayor. Climb up the steps from the Old Town and turn left, we will see the great Torre de Bujaco or Bujaco Tower. At the top of the tower, we will be treated to a storks' eye view of the Plaza Mayor. To climb the tower, we need to spend 2 euros at own expenses. Next to Torre de Bujaco, we will see the Arco de La Estrella. The essential part of travelling to Caceres is what lies inside the fortress. As we enter through Arco de la Estrella, several antique buildings greet us. If we walk left from the archway, we will find the Palacio de Toledo-Moctezuma which we can only visit the palace from the outside. Additionally, the small streets in the Old Town have different small shops selling local products. Afterwards we will continue to Seville where will enjoy dinner and spend night here.
Day 2 Seville
After breakfast in the hotel, we will take a city tour throughout Seville with a local guide, to admire this beautiful and also the largest city of Southern Spain. We will visit the Plaza de Espana, the Seville Cathedral, Maria Luisa Park, and Barrio Santa Cruz - the city's old Jewish Quarter. After the city tour we will have the afternoon off to rest or explore more on own. You can check out the inside of Seville Cathedral at own expenses, or visit the famous Giralda Bell Tower. Or we can go to Metropol Parasol, and then explore the Disrict of Triana - one of the city's most distinctive attractions. Afterwards we will enjoy dinner and spend night in Seville.
Day 3 Seville - Ronda - Costa del Sol (205 km)
On our way to Costa del Sol, we will stop in the white village of Ronda with free time to explore the main highlights of this beautiful town, including the Puento Nuevo Bridge, Puente Viejo and Bullring. After some free time here, we will continue to the Costa del Sol. Depending on the date, tour group and other factors, we will go either to Marbella or Torremolinos. Both places are beautiful coastal towns with excellent beaches, vibrant nightlife and very relaxed atmosphere. After arrival, we will enjoy dinner and overnight here.
Day 4 Costa del Sol - Tangier - Fez
After breakfast, we will board a ferry on the southern coast of Spain that will carry us across the Bay of Gibraltar to Morocco and enter the Kingdom of Morocco. Once there, we will disembark and continue on a bus to the city of Tangier, where we will take a sightseeing tour before continuing to Fez for the night.
Day 5 Fez
In the morning, we will explore the narrow, 9th-century streets and alleys of Fez in the city's antique Medina district, one of the oldest of its kinds in the world, with its mosques, madrasas, and handicraft shops. We will have the afternoon free to continue to discover this charming city.
Day 6 Fez - Meknes - Marrakech (409 km)
After breakfast in Fez, we will depart to the walled, imperial city of Meknes. We will have a stop there to admire the beautiful monumental gates of Bab Al Mansour. Afterwards we will move on to Marrakech, where we will eat dinner and stay the night.
Day 7 Marrakech
Today, we will expore Marrakech, visiting the Square Djemaa el-Fna, Bahia Palace, and the Saadian Tombs. After that, we will be free to spend at our own leisure. We can relax in a soothing hammam, eat delicious food in Marrakesh restaurants and cafes where we can sit and enjoy a delicious taste of Morocco. Or wander around bustling souks, Then we will enjoy dinner and spend night in Marrakesh.
Day 8 Marrakech - Casablanca - Rabat (93 km)
After breakfast, we will make our way to Casablanca to see this legendary cosmopolitan city. We will enjoy a short tour around Casablanca including the Hassan 2 Mosque and La Corniche beach. In the evening, we will head towards Rabat, the country's capital, where we will enjoy dinner and check into our hotel.
Day 9 Rabat - Tangier (202 km)
After breakfast, we will visit Rabat's most famous sites, like the Hassan Tower and Tomb, the Tomb of King Mohammad V, and King's Palace. Afterward, we will make our way to Tangier for a dinner and overnight.
Day 10 Tangier - Costa del Sol (132 km)
Today we will head back to Spain. After breakfast we will take a ferry back to Tarifa or Algericas, Spain. There bus pick us up at the port and after another hour we will be in Marbella or Torremolinos. After arrival, we will enjoy second half of the day at Costa del Sol. Marbella is one of the favorite destinations for travelers worldwide, Marbella successfully attracts visitors due to its diverse beaches, cosmopolitan atmosphere, mild climate, and world-class nightlife. Torremolinos is the perfect blend of a cosmopolitan town and a traditional Andalusian fishing village. Then we will have a dinner and stay night on Costa del Sol.
Day 11 Costa del Sol - Granada (147 km)
After breakfast, we will drive to Granada, where we will visit the Alhambra, the massive fortress complex built by the former Arab rulers of southern Spain. The tour to Alhambra is already quite extensive and include a good part of walking, so it's your choice the rest of the day - to relax in the hotel or continue to explore the city of Granada on own. We can visit the Alcaiceria, Albaicin, Granada's Cathedral and so on. Then we will have a dinner and spend night in Granada.
Day 12 Granada - Toledo - Madrid (433 km)
After breakfast, we will then transfer to Toledo. Some of the highlights we will see during the tour include the Toledo's Cathedral and the Juderia. We will then see and enter the Santa Maria la Blanca and also the church of Santo Tome. Then we will have a lunch. Later, we will move to discover the ancestral techniques and the phases of the true Toledano sword-making elaboration process in the craftsman's own workshop. Around in the evening we will transfer and arrive at Madrid, where tour will come to an end.
