Day 1 Madrid - Cordoba - Sevilla (447 km)
After departing at 8:30am from the Julia Travel bus terminal, located in the underground parking center of the Plaza de Oriente, we will drive to the La Mancha region, the land of Don Quixote. Along the way, we will make a brief stop in Puerto Lapice to see what a typical town in the Spanish countryside looks like. When we reach the region of Andalusia, we will travel to Cordoba, where we will see the city's impressive Mosque-Cathedral and Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, we will drive to Sevilla, where we will enjoy dinner and check into a hotel.
Day 2 Seville
Today, we will go on a sightseeing tour around Seville, visiting the Cathedral, which is the second largest Catholic church in the world after St. Peter's Basilica in Rome; we will also see the Santa Cruz Quarter, Maria Luisa Park and the Plaza de Espana. We will be able to spend the afternoon at our own leisure or take an optional Flamenco tour.
Day 3 Seville - Ronda - Costa del Sol (179 km)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive past small countryside villages on our way to Ronda, where we will spend some free time admiring this town of Celtic origin, taking in marvelous views of the valley and mountain range. In the afternoon, we will continue to the Costa del Sol, an important international tourist area.
Day 4 Costa del Sol - Fes (539 km)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive along the picturesque tourist route out of Costa del Sol, past beautiful locales like Marbella and Puerto Banus. Eventually, we will arrive in Tarifa to board a ferry that crosses the Strait of Gibraltar to Morocco. Once we arrive and clear customs, we will drive to Fes, one of the most monumental imperial cities in the country, where we will see the University of Karaouyne, an ancient theological school.
Day 5 Fes
In the morning, we will enjoy a sightseeing tour of Fes, visiting the Royal Palace and its 7 gates, the Jewish Quarter, Bab Bou Jeloud, the Medina and Fes el Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will have the afternoon free to explore at our own pace. Later on, we will enjoy dinner before guests have the option of seeing an evening show.
Day 6 Fes - Meknes - Marrakech (409 km)
Today, we will drive to the ancient city of Meknes, a walled imperial city in the Atlas Mountains. Once there, we will take a panoramic sightseeing tour, which includes a visit to the Bab al Mansour, the most famous gate in Morocco. Later on, we will continue to Marrakech.
Day 7 Marrakech
Today, we will go sightseeing in Marrakech, visiting the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian Tombs and the Bahia Palace. In the afternoon, we will walk around the Medina, explore the souks and see the magic of Jemaa el Fnaa Square, which is packed with fortune tellers, acrobats, dances and more. After dinner, we can attend an optional show: Fantasia at Chez Ali.
Day 8 Marrakech - Casablanca - Rabat (312 km)
After breakfast, we will travel north to Casablanca, where we will take a panoramic sightseeing tour to the most interesting places in the city, including Anfa Boulevard, Nations Square, the Hassan II Mosque and residential areas. In the afternoon, we will continue to Rabat, the diplomatic and administrative capital of Morocco, where we can see the Official Residence of King Mohamed VI.
Day 9 Rabat - Larache - Tangier (202 km)
In the morning, we will go sightseeing in Rabat, visiting places like the Royal Palace, Mohamed V Mausoleum, the unfinished Hassan Tower and more. In the afternoon, we will travel through Larache on our way to Tangier, where we will take a short panoramic tour.
Day 10 Tangier - Costa del Sol (118 km)
After breakfast, we will transfer to the pier and board the ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar back to Spain. We will drive to Costa del Sol, where we will have dinner and check into the hotel.
Day 11 Costa del Sol - Granada (201 km)
After breakfast, we will depart towards the city of Granada, where we will visit the famous Alhambra palace complex and ht Generalife Gardens.In the evening, we can see a gypsy flamenco show in the Sacromonte Quarter.
Day 12 Granada - Toledo - Madrid (440 km)
Today we will drive to Toledo - World Heritage City - where the three cultures Christians, Moorish and Jewish, have lived together. Resume of the Spanish art, history and spirituality the whole town is a National Monument. We will have a short guided tour of this historical old town throught its narrow streets. Then proceed with a visit to a famous "Damasquinado" (gold and silver inlaying in iron) factory. Later we will continue to Madrid.
