Day 1: Zurich/Lucern - Interlaken/Grindelwald (119 km)

Departing from Zurich or Lucern, we will embark on a scenic coach journey through splendid countryside to the idyllic Bernese Oberland. We will visit and spend the night in Interlaken or Grindelwald.

Option 1: Interlaken where you can visit the region's shopping paradise - the choices on offer are diverse, from regional products to precious jewellery and watches.

Option 2: Grindelwald
Experience in the afternoon a cable car ride to the sunny terrace of "Mt. First" and enjoy the 40-meter long Cliff Walk by Tissot or hike one of the well-prepared trails and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains including the triple peaks Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

Bernese Oberland, SWITZERLAND

The Bernese Oberland is the higher part of the canton of Bern, Switzerland, in the southern end of the canton, and one of the canton's five administrative regions. The mountain range in the Berner Oberland south of the Aare and north of the Rhône are collectively called the Bernese Alps.
Interlaken, SWITZERLAND

This small Swiss town is a very popular tourist destination because of its beautiful location nestled in a valley among the Alps. There is a famous monastery and many popular, old-fashioned hotels in the area.
Grindelwald, SWITZERLAND

Grindelwald is a village and municipality in the Interlaken-Oberhasli administrative district in the canton of Berne in Switzerland. In addition to the village of Grindelwald, the municipality also includes the settlements of Alpiglen, Burglauenen, Grund, Itramen, Mühlebach, Schwendi, Tschingelberg and Wargistal.

Day 2: Interlaken/Grindelwald - Jungfraujoch - Lucerne/Zurich (93 km)

After enjoying the buffet breakfast at your hotel, we will start the excursion to the Jungfraujoch. Your luggage will be stored in the bus before you board the cogwheel train for a spectacular ride via Kleine Scheidegg to Jungfraujoch. We will see stunning views of the mountain panorama and the Eiger and get on the top of Jungfraujoch. We will experience the adventure tour "Alpine Sensation" and visit the Sphinx Observation Terrace and Plateau with most breath-taking panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and the Aletsch Glacier. We will also stroll through the tunnels of the Ice Palace located in the heart of the glacier. In the afternoon, passing by car-free holiday destination Wengen to Lauterbrunnen, we will continue the return journey.

Interlaken, SWITZERLAND

This small Swiss town is a very popular tourist destination because of its beautiful location nestled in a valley among the Alps. There is a famous monastery and many popular, old-fashioned hotels in the area.

Jungfrau

It is the highest peak in Europe and the most attractive landscape in Berne Heights. It is called "Queen" of the Alps, 4158 meters above sea level, spanning 18 kilometers, just like a girl dressed in long hair, plain silver, lying quietly on her back between the clouds.

Eiger

It is the easternmost peak of a ridge crest that extends across the Monch to the Jungfrau at 4,158 m, constituting one of the most emblematic sights of the Swiss Alps.

Alpine Sensation

It was built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Jungfrau Railway and opened on April 1, 2012. Here, you can not only enjoy the beautiful ice sculptures, but also understand the story behind the railway. The visitor route is 250 meters long, directly connecting the Sphinx Hall and the Ice Palace.

Sphinx Observatory

An astronomical observatory located above the Jungfraujoch in Switzerland. The open viewing deck accessible to the public is adjacent to the observatory. It offers views of the Jungfrau, Monch, and Eiger peaks, all within a few kilometers.

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print and bring e-ticket(s) on your trip, as they serve as proof of purchase.

The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
Cancellation penalties per person for 1-4 days tours
(Notification day and departure day are not counted)
15-30 days or more prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
7-14 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
4-6 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
