Day 1 Buena Park

Today we will spend the day at Knott's Berry Farm. This famous theme park founded in 1940 in southern California sees more than three and a half million visitors every year. There are more than forty rides at the park, including ten roller coasters and two water rides.

Knott's Berry Farm was, at one point, a berry farm owned by Walter and Cordelia Knott. In 1934, the family began running a restaurant on the farm, which morphed into a major tourist attraction. Over the years, Walter Knott added attractions and eventually rides in order to keep tourists coming and money flowing in. In this way, a farm in southern California metamorphosized into a park that bills itself as "California's Best Theme Park."

At the end of the day, we will return to the pickup points for dropoff.

A vacation hot spot, the lively city of Buena Park is not only known for it's premier location in Orange County but for its world famous entertainment - including the nation's first theme park, Knott's Berry Farm. Enjoy over 30 exhilarating rides, visit the loveable Snoopy and the Peanuts Gang at Camp Snoopy, and pan for gold at the only authentic 1880's Ghost Town.
