Day 1 Los Angeles

Today, guests will gather in Los Angeles, where they will meet an official tour guide in the baggage claim area of LAX for domestic flights or at the exit gate for international flights. From there, they will transfer to the hotel for check-in. All who arrive before 2:00pm from International flight or 3:00pm from domestic flights can join an optional Night Tour of the city.

Day 2 Los Angeles - 17 Miles - San Francisco (437 miles)

We will depart from Los Angeles and head to the picturesque Monterey Peninsula, where gentle sea breezes, meandering coast, surging waves, bizarre rocks, adorable seals and sea lions rest on the beach. Then we will stop at a world first-class Golf course and resort to view the amazing ocean view. Afterwards we enjoy the scenery of the 17 Miles, which is truly breathtaking. We may also explore the newly opened Pebble Beach Visitor Center. Arrive in Bay Area in the evening and overnight.

Day 3 Berkeley - San Francisco City Tour - Modesto (105 miles)

We visit the campus of UC Berkeley in the morning. From the nostalgic campus, Golden Gate Bridge and Golden Gate Straight can both be seen! Afterward, we'll drive to San Francisco, home to over 50 rolling hills and surrounded by water on 3 sides. Then we'll visit the Golden Gate Bridge before visiting Fisherman's Wharf. Here you can take an optional cruise on the San Francisco Bay (own expense). Next, we will visit Madame Tussaud or Exploratorium and then we'll visit the only building remaining from 1915 world's exposition, the Palace of Fine Arts. You may take a in-depth city tour at your own cost this afternoon. Stay overnight in Modesto.

Day 4 Modesto - Yosemite - Los Angeles (354 miles)

In the morning, we will depart from our hotel and drive to Yosemite National Park, where we will see famous landmarks like El Capitan, Yosemite Falls, Yosemite Valley, Half Dome, Bridal Veil Falls, and much more. After lunch, we will travel across the Central Valley of California until we reach Los Angeles.

Day 5 Los Angeles - Las Vegas (270 miles)

Today, we will journey through the San Bernardino Valley Area and the immense Mojave Desert to fabulous Las Vegas. Upon our arrival in Vegas in the afternoon, guests are free to spend their time as they please. There is an optional night tour for exploring the city.

Day 6 Tour Options

Option 1: Las Vegas - Grand Canyon West Rim - Las Vegas (541 miles)

Option 2: Las Vegas

Day 7 Las Vegas - Barstow - Los Angeles (228 miles)

Before we leave Las Vegas, we will travel to the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and its Botanical Cactus Gardens. On our way back to Los Angeles, we will stop in Barstow, CA, to visit the Tanger Outlets. We will arrive back in LA at night.

Very well organised and to the point. Some accomodation like LA Hotel, el monte was just fantastic. Time maintenance was near perfect & co travellers were very good and co operative which helped us all. Our guide Rita, was very friendly and active...my best wishes to her. Jack was very nice. The guy who drove our bus was a very sober & good person. This tour is best fitted for maximum coverage with minimum cost.Obviously, there is no luxury and an avid traveller will suely enjoy. Food at times becomes monotonous but one can always choose personal eateries.Just we had to wait for long in airport for pickup...and so initial communication shud be smooth.Just tht, if they can include some flexibility in drop off location which fall along the tour path,it will be so helpful for the tourists. I m happy tht taketours fulfilled the planned itinerary & will travel again in future.

Great Experience... the tour guide was knowledgeable... even though there was the government close down and we could not see Yosemite National Park ... we were happy to see the alternate site of Monetary 17 Mile Drive... thank you.

Tour was very good for its price. Understandably, it was hectic. Would be a plus if all the tour guides are trained to speak better English. Their knowledge is very good, spoken in Mandarin.

I recommend this tour!

One of the tour guide Kevin spoke very less English. We had to ask him again and again to repeat the stuff in English language. The other tour guide Josh Li was good. One surprising thing is that the SF extensive tour of 25$ was charged separately even tough it was covered through the same bus. But overall well organized and covered all places.

I recommend this tour!
