Day 1 Los Angeles - Lake Havasu City - Laughlin(297 miles)

Today we will leave Los Angeles and head east to Lake Havasu City, AZ, home of the London Bridge. We will arrive in Laughlin, NV at the end of the day and spend the night.

Lake Havasu City is a city in Mohave County, Arizona, United States. London Bridge crosses a narrow channel that leads from Lake Havasu to Thompson Bay, which has become the second-largest tourist attraction in Arizona after the Grand Canyon. "Day of the Wolves" is a 1971 heist film starring Richard Egan, which was the first movie to be made on location in the new town of Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

  • This bridge originally stood over the River Thames in London, which is where the name comes from. Replaced and sold to an American entrepreneur, these days, it rests in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Standard Hotel: Edgewater Hotel or similar

Day 2 Laughlin - Grand Canyon - Antelope Canyon - Kanab(329 miles)

Today we will make our way to the East Rim of the Grand Canyon. After, we will visit the Antelope Canyon before heading to Kanab, UT for the night.

Considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon was carved over 17 million years by the Colorado River. This breathtaking, 18-mile-long canyon has been stunning visitors for hundreds of years.

  • Desert View Drive is a scenic route to the east of Grand Canyon Village on the South Rim which follows the rim for 25 miles out to the Desert View Watchtower and East Entrance. Meanwhile, the Watchtower also commands a magnificent view of the Grand Canyon.
  • This film at the visitor's center in Grand Canyon National Park explores the history of the Grand Canyon as it relates to the humans who have interacted with it for the past thousands of years.
Admission (Optional): Adult $25; Child $25; Senior $25|Duration: Approx. 40 Minutes

This slot canyon, made of sandstone, was formed by flood and rainwater. Its narrow, winding passageways and high walls give Upper Antelope Canyon its unique and distinctive appearance. It is on a Navajo reservation.

Antelope Canyon may be closed due to other irresistible condition and we will visit X Canyon instead.
  • Upper Antelope Canyon is called "the place where water runs through rocks" by the Navajo. Its entrance and entire length are at ground level, requiring no climbing. Beams occur most often in the summer months, as they require the sun to be high in the sky. Light beams start to peek into the canyon March 20 and disappear October 7 each year.
Admission (Optional): Adult $70; Child (0-12 yrs) $60
Standard Hotel: Days Inn or similar

Day 3 Kanab - Bryce Canyon - Zion National Park - Las Vegas(259 miles)

Today we will visit two amazing national parks, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. We will head to Las Vegas, NV for the night. Upon our arrival, guests are invited to take a night tour of the city.

Bryce Canyon National Park is named for just one of many canyons which form a series of horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters on the edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau in southern Utah.

Zion National Park is named for the half-mile deep canyon that finds its home here. Over two-hundred species of birds call this park home, living amongst the exquisite geological formations and desert flora.

Las Vegas is known as the "Entertainment Capital of the World" for a good reason-- casinos and hotels line its streets, and visitors can gamble, see shows, and shop at virtually any hour of the day or night.

  • The iconic "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign greets visitors driving down the Las Vegas Strip, which features some of the largest casinos and hotels in not just Vegas, but the entire world.
  • See fabulous Las Vegas at its best-- at night! This exciting tour of the famous Strip takes guests to sights such as the Bellagio Fountains, Venetian Hotel, Volcano at the Mirage, and historic Old Town Las Vegas.
Admission (Optional): Adult $35; Child (3-12 yrs) $35|Duration: Approx. 3 Hours 30 Minutes
Standard Hotel: Excalibur Hotel or similar

Day 4 Las Vegas - Los Angeles(272 miles)

Before returning to Los Angeles, we will visit the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Botanical Gardens and Desert Cactus Garden. Following departure for Los Angeles, we will stop at the Lenwood factory outlet where you can purchase famous brands at the lowest prices. We will arrive back in Los Angeles at night.

Las Vegas is known as the "Entertainment Capital of the World" for a good reason-- casinos and hotels line its streets, and visitors can gamble, see shows, and shop at virtually any hour of the day or night.

  • Doubling as a chocolate factory and botanical gardens, the Ethel M Factory is the perfect place to grab a sweet treat then relax among the tranquility of over 300 types of plant.

Barstow serves as a civilized stop-over for off-road enthusiasts and desert adventurers and offers access to a very modest clutch of cultural sights. Find out and about a museum or two, including one with Route 66 as its focus, filming locations like Bagdad Cafe and quaint Calico Ghost Town.

  • The Tanger Outlets in Barstow serve as the midpoint between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, and offer the best prices on designer-name goods. With over 60 stores on location, there is a bargain waiting for everyone.

I booked this tour from the UK, a little worried as reading about the language barrier but nothing to worry about, our guide Jack was fantastic! I can't think of a better way to see so many attractions in one trip, I know for a fact I wouldn't have wanted to do that drive so I would without a doubt highly recommend this trip. Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend were absolutely breathtaking, just remember to take jeans and jacket to the grand canyon as does get very chilly at the high altitude. Very well organised from start to finish. Next time I'm in America I would 100% book a trip with TakeTours again!

I recommend this tour!

We had a wonderful time!! The itinerary was great. Our driver and our tour guide were very professional. Seats are rotated every day. Hotels are decent. There is a toilet in the bus but the guide stops every few hours for a bathroom break. We were given about 30-60 minutes per location. You have to be quick to get as many pictures as you can especially if you see another tour bus pull up. I'm doing a longer one to Yellowstone in May. I now know what to expect.

I recommend this tour!

If you are looking for a trip which will take you to through the one of the most amazing landscapes of not only United States but the entire world, then I would say, this is one of the trips that you can opt for. It will take you to Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Antelope or the Page Canyon, Zion National Park, the Rocky Mountains, the Horse Shoe Bend and finally like a topping on the ice cream to Las Vegas. All in 4 days - what more can you want ? The tour starts on time and stops on time. Better be on your watch - else you might miss the bus. If you are Asian it is an added bonus, as the tour is conducted in Chinese and English, and they take to Chinese and Asian food outlets mostly. They will pick up you from your selected pick up point and drop you too at free of cost ... !!! Oh yes - do you own research on the weather conditions, your clothes and shoes, your food in stock, your timings, your cash wallet, etc. So - do not blame the tour guide if it was raining,... or you needed an entrance fees to be paid in cash and you did not have!!!

I recommend this tour!

Great itinerary and well-organized trip! Our driver was really skillful, drove stably and safely all the way through the long journeys. Our guide was great too, very professional and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were all comfortable, safe, and got to all the places on the itinerary (and more)! I really enjoyed the trip though I normally dislike group tours. One thing though - the guide's accent can be hard to understand. He spoke English and Mandarin, luckily for me I understand both languages! But if you only understand English, it could be a bit tough. He's super nice though, and I felt this made up for it overall.

I recommend this tour!

Good trip, organization, and accommodation. Antelope Canyon: I recommend the jeep ride to see the beauty of the canyon. Bryce Canyon was so beautiful! Last day: nothing special to see.

This trip is good for people who stay far away from the West Coast. 1) South Rim Grand-Canyon - Buses are allowed to stop only at one view point. You get 1 hour at that one point to take as many pictures you want. 2) Bryce Canyon was good. 3) Antelope canyon - Since we reached there at 3:00pm (last slot), it was so crowded it's hard to take good pictures (like the ones you see on Google). Again it's just a one time watch location. 4) Zion, London Bridge, and Chocolate factory were a waste of time or you may call it "fillers." 5) Laughlin and London Bridge was sooo hot .. it's like being put into an oven.

I recommend this tour!

The four day tour was great. We visited in winter and was little skeptical. Even if the there were lots of snow on the ground at Bryce Canyon, there were no crowds and you can take as many photos as you would like without people bumping into you (like summertime). We saw lots of beautiful site and there were many photo opportunities. The highlight of the tour is the optional jeep tour to Antelope Canyon. David the tour guide did an excellent job and the driver was great too. The only downside with the tour was our stay at the Quad Hotel in Las Vegas bad choice.

I recommend this tour!

Great guide Chris and driver Alexandra. Interesting commentary throughout. The canyons were awesome and esp. lovely capped with snow. Although tiring as great distances were covered, loved every minute of it particularly the Antelope Canyon and the photo opportunities. Tour offer many wonderful photo opportunities and not to be missed by photo enthusiasts. Great organisation!
