Day 1 Los Angeles - 17 Miles - San Francisco (437 miles)

We will depart from Los Angeles and head to the picturesque Monterey Peninsula, where gentle sea breezes, meandering coast, surging waves, bizarre rocks, adorable seals and sea lions rest on the beach. Then we will stop at a world first-class Golf course and resort to view the amazing ocean view. Afterwards we enjoy the scenery of the 17 Miles, which is truly breathtaking. We may also explore the newly opened Pebble Beach Visitor Center. Arrive in Bay Area in the evening and overnight.

Day 2 Berkeley - San Francisco City Tour - Modesto (105 miles)

We visit the campus of UC Berkeley in the morning. From the nostalgic campus, Golden Gate Bridge and Golden Gate Straight can both be seen! Afterward, we'll drive to San Francisco, home to over 50 rolling hills and surrounded by water on 3 sides. Then we'll visit the Golden Gate Bridge before visiting Fisherman's Wharf. Here you can take an optional cruise on the San Francisco Bay (own expense). Next, we will visit Madame Tussaud or Exploratorium and then we'll visit the only building remaining from 1915 world's exposition, the Palace of Fine Arts. You may take a in-depth city tour at your own cost this afternoon. Stay overnight in Modesto.

Day 3 Modesto - Yosemite - Los Angeles (364 miles)

In the morning we'll depart from the hotel towards Yosemite National Park. Giant trees, mountains, and sparkling streams and lakes, glacier-carved canyons, all these unique features make up Yosemite. Take a walk in the woods and enjoy the fresh forest air. After lunch, we'll travel across Central Valley of California, where over half of the fruits, nuts, and vegetables grown in the country are produced every year. In the evening we'll return to Los Angeles. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

The tour is pretty hectic and the hotels which are provided arent the best. Food options are ok, would definitely try finding another route.

I recommend this tour!

I will recommend this tour to my friends but I just need to make some comments. Pls remove the word OPTIONAL to your SF cruise and SF tour because they are mandatory. We were not able to explore Fisherman's Wharf, we just get off the bus and went directly to Madame Tussauds and waited for our cruise tour. Time is not enough but we had fun.

I recommend this tour!

Overall a good experience. The Tour Guide, "Summer", was excellent. Driver was OK. Hotels were nice. The refreshment stops were too Chinese oriented and we had a hard time finding regular cuisine, as there were a number of other nationalities on board. The 6:00 a.m. departure to UC Berkeley was much too early, especially after getting in late the night before. This made no sense. Those going on the cruise had to speed through Madame Tussaud's. The 3rd Day Itinerary however, was much too rushed. The Driver raced through the 17-mile drive, so we couldn't even look at the palatial homes, as they were flashing by. The only stop was at the Pebble Beach lodge. No sea lion rock stop, no Lone Cypress Stop... Nothing else. This was a grave disappointment, and we got the impression that they just wanted to return as quickly as possible to LA. Overall not a bad trip but improvement needed to itinerary.

I recommend this tour!
