Day 1 Los Angeles - Santa Barbara - 17 Miles - San Francisco(367 miles)

In the morning, we will depart from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the beautiful Pacific Coast along the way. Afterward, we'll head to the picturesque Monterey Peninsula, where gentle sea breezes, meandering coast, surging waves, bizarre rocks, adorable seals and sea lions rest on the beach. Here we'll stop at a first-class golf course to sightsee. Then we'll view the scenery of the 17 Miles, which is truly breathtaking. We'll arrive in the Bay Area (Greater San Francisco) in the evening and stay overnight.

"The American Riviera" in southern California is known for its year-round warm weather. It features miles of beaches as well as historic landmarks like the Mission Santa Barbara, a still-functioning church founded by Spanish missionaries in the 18th century.

Monterey was the capital of Alta California under both Spain and Mexico. It was the only port of entry for taxable goods in California. In 1846 the U.S. flag was raised over the Customs House, and California became part of the United States after the ensuing Mexican-American War.
