Day 1 London-Cardiff-London (444 km)

Guests should meet at Paddington Station in London at 7:30am where they will meet a guide who will provide them with packets containing their train tickets and other information. The train to Cardiff leaves at 8:15am. When we arrive, our first stop will be Cardiff Castle, the site of a former Roman fort. Then, guests will either take a Open Top bus tour of the city (April to October) or visit Millennium Stadium (November to March). The open top bus tour departs every 30 minutes from outside Cardiff Central station and will take us to all the main sights including Cardiff Castle, Cardiff Bay, the old Cardiff docklands, Techniquest, the handson science exhibition centre and the National Museum of Wales. After lunch, guests will have time to explore the city at their own pace before returning to London. The return train departs at 5:55pm. Please be sure to be at the station 45 minutes prior to departure. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information.

*Return time is an estimate and varies based on traffic and weather conditions.
