Day 4 Paris - Versailles - Paris(34 km)

We have a full day dedicated to exploration of Paris, France! We will take a tour of the city that includes stops at the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, and Champs Elysees. In the afternoon, there is an optional excursion to the Palace of Versailles. Tonight, guests are invited to join a welcome dinner in the city.

Day 5 Paris - Lucerne(486 km)

Today we will enjoy views of Fontainebleau Forest, the wine-growing area of Burgundy, prosperous farms, and tidy, half-timbered villages as you head through the alpine heart of Switzerland to the Lucerne area.

Day 6 Lucerne

Today, we will get to better know Lucerne, CH. In the morning, we will take a tour of the city that includes a stop at the Lion Monument. In the afternoon, guests may take a variety of optional tours, including a Lake Lucerne Cruise and a ride on the Mount Titlis Chairlift.

This Swiss city on gorgeous Lake Lucerne is popular with tourists due to its amazing views of the lake, Mount Pilatus, and Mount Rigi of the Swiss Alps. Some of the buildings in Lucerne date back hundreds of years.

Day 7 Lucerne - Verona - Venice(376 km)

Today we will drive into the mountain ranges that surround the massive St. Gotthard Pass. Once through its great tunnel, we will arrive in Canton Ticino. Then crossing into Italy, we will drive through the Lombardy plains to Romeo and Juliet's Verona. Overnight in the Venice area.

Day 8 Venice

Today we will explore Venice, IT.Our tour today starts with a boat ride and is followed by a chance to watch Venetian glassblowers fashion their delicate objects as they did centuries ago. After, guests are invited to take a Gondola Ride down one of the many canals.

This city off the coast of northeast Italy is famous the world over for its many canals. It is actually a chain of 118 islands linked together by bridges and waterways. Venice is world-renown for its art and beauty.

Day 9 Venice - Florence - Montecatini(258 km)

Today we will drive from Venice south to Florence, IT. Here we will take a walking tour that will acquaint us with some of the city's most impressive sights. We will spend the night in the nearby town of Montecatini, IT.

Historic Florence, Italy is considered to be one of the most gorgeous cities in the world. Its long tradition of art and culture can be seen on nearly every doorstep. Millions of people travel here each year.

Day 10 Montecatini - Pisa - Rome(333 km)

Today we will continue on to Pisa, IT, where we will see the city's most famous sights: the iconic Leaning Tower and the Piazza dei Miracoli, or Plaza of Miracles. From Pisa we will drive to Rome, IT, where guests are invited to join an optional night tour of the city.

This Tuscan town on the Tyrrhenian Sea in northern Italy is most famous for its Leaning Tower. However, there are many more works of art and architecture to see, and time spent in Pisa will not be easily forgotten!

  • The world-famous tower built during the Middle Ages is a testament to both human ingenuity and fallibility. The tower tilted because the soil on one side was softer than on the other, and it could not support the tower's weight.

Today we will tour magnificent Rome, IT. We will take an in-depth guided tour that includes views of St. Peter's Basilica as well as inside visits to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
