Day 1 Lisboa - Obidos - Alcobaca - Nazare - Batalha - Fatima (156 km)

In the morning, guests will be picked up from their Lisbon hotels. We will begin this tour by driving to Obidos through a landscape dotted with windmills and fruit trees. Here, we will admire the well-preserved medieval walls and architecture before we move on to Alcobaca to visit the Gothic Monastery. Then, we will stop in Nazare, a nearby fishing village and seaside resort, before continuing to Batalha, where we will visit the Monastery of Santa Maria de Victoria. Afterwards, we will arrive in Fatima to visit the Marian Sanctuary. This is where we will spend the night.

Day 2 Fatima - Coimbra - Aveiro - Porto (262 km)

In the morning, we will enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing towards Coimbra, where we will visit the local University and the Monastery of Santa Clara. In the city center, we can admire the local ceramics and crafts. In the afternoon, we will continue to Aveiro, nicknamed the "Portuguese Venice" for all its canals. Afterwards, we will drive to Porto, where we will spend the night.

Day 3 Porto - Guimaraes - Braga - Porto (554 km)

After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Porto to make a morning visit to discover the riverside area, old houses, palaces, churches. We will then continue to the Minho. Starting by Guimaraes - the cradle of the nation, we will walk along the historic centre. We will visit the Sacred Hill, crowned by the Castle, as well the Palace of the Dukes of Braganca. Then we will drive to Braga known for its concentration of religious architecture, as the oldest Cathedral of the country, and the "Bom Jesus do Monte" Sanctuary with famous baroque stairway and gardens. Return to Porto in the evening.

Day 4 Porto - Santiago de Compostela - Porto

After breakfast at the hotel, we will set off for Santiago de Compostela, the capital of Galicia and the centre of pilgrimage at the end of the Santiago Way. We will have the entire day to freely discover this fascinating city. Wander its historical streets and learn about its most extraordinary monuments before sampling some of the traditional local dishes. Overnight in Porto.

Day 5 Porto - Amarante - Vila Real - Douro Valley - Lamego - Viseu - Urgeirica (297 km)

After breakfast at our hotel, we will depart for Amarante, where we will see the Sao Goncalo Monastery and the local market. Then, we will make our way to Vila Real to visit the gardens of the Casa de Mateus. Next, we will find ourselves in the region famous for Port wine, winding up in Lamego. Then, we will continue through a mountainous region to Viseu. Later on, we will arrive in Urgeirica, where we will spend the night.

Day 6 Urgueirica - Bussaco - Tomar - Lisboa (212 km)

After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive through the heart of the country until we reach Bussaco, best known for its lush forest, before we continue to Tomar, a city closely associated with the Portuguese branch of the Knights Templar.
