Day 1 Lisboa - Obidos - Alcobaca - Nazare - Batalha - Fatima (156 km)

In the morning, guests will be picked up from their Lisbon hotels. We will begin this tour by driving to Obidos through a landscape dotted with windmills and fruit trees. Here, we will admire the well-preserved medieval walls and architecture before we move on to Alcobaca to visit the Gothic Monastery. Then, we will stop in Nazare, a nearby fishing village and seaside resort, before continuing to Batalha, where we will visit the Monastery of Santa Maria de Victoria. Afterwards, we will arrive in Fatima to visit the Marian Sanctuary. This is where we will spend the night.

Day 2 Fatima - Coimbra - Aveiro - Porto (262 km)

In the morning, we will enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing towards Coimbra, where we will visit the local University and the Monastery of Santa Clara. In the city center, we can admire the local ceramics and crafts. In the afternoon, we will continue to Aveiro, nicknamed the "Portuguese Venice" for all its canals. Afterwards, we will drive to Porto, where we will spend the night.

Day 3 Porto

Today, we will have the entire day to explore the wonderful city of Porto, Portugal's second-largest metropolitan area. In the morning, we will do some sightseeing before having the entire afternoon free to explore at our own leisure.

Day 4 Oporto - Guimaraes - Braga - Barcelos - Oporto (142 km)

After breakfast at our hotel, we will spend the day touring the northwestern region of Portugal, starting with Guimaraes, where we will feel as though we traveled back in time to the Middle Ages. Here, we will visit the Sacred Hill, the Castle, and the Palace of the Dukes of Braganca. After this, we'll drive to Braga, where we will see the Cathedral and the Bom Jesus do Monte Sanctuary. Then we will continue to Barcelos, a historical city rich with handmade crafts. Afterwards, we will return to Porto for another evening.

Day 5 Porto - Amarante - Vila Real - Douro Valley - Lamego - Viseu - Urgeirica (297 km)

After breakfast at our hotel, we will depart for Amarante, where we will see the Sao Goncalo Monastery and the local market. Then, we will make our way to Vila Real to visit the gardens of the Casa de Mateus. Next, we will find ourselves in the region famous for Port wine, winding up in Lamego. Then, we will continue through a mountainous region to Viseu. Later on, we will arrive in Urgeirica, where we will spend the night.

Day 6 Urgueirica - Bussaco - Tomar - Lisbon (258 km)

After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive through the heart of the country until we reach Bussaco, best known for its lush forest, before we continue to Tomar, a city closely associated with the Portuguese branch of the Knights Templar. Afterwards, we will make our way to Lisbon, where we will spend the night.

Day 7 Lisbon - Sintra - Cascais - Estoril - Lisbon (61 km)

After breakfast, we will depart for Sintra, where we will visit the Palace and stroll through the charming village. Then, we will enjoy the view of the Atlantic at Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point in Europe. Alogn the coast, we will pass the incredible surfing beach of Boca do Inferno, the cosmopolitan Cascais, and the gardens of the Estoril Casino. We will return to Lisbon for the evening.

Day 8 Lisbon - Evora - Lisbon (267 km)

Today, we will explore the town of Evora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Leaving Lisbon, we will cross the Tejo River and arrive at the town. We will wall the narrow streets of this whitewashed town and visit it's most important monuments, like the Roman Temple, the Cathedral, Saint Francis Church, and the University. In the local market, we will feel the richness of the fresh produce and handmade crafts. After lunch, we will have free time to explore the city at our own pace. We will return to Lisbon for the night.

Day 9 Evora - Beja - Silves - Alvor - Lagos (247 km)

After breakfast in the morning, we will spend a little bit of leisure time in Evora before driving south to Beja, where a medieval castle and tower dominate the region. Then we will cross the mountains into the Algarve region, eventually coming to Silves, after which we will head to Lagos for the evening.

Day 10 Lagos - Ponta da Piedade - Sagres - Cabo de S. Vicente - Lagos (68 km)

After breakfast, we will make our way to Ponta de Piedade to admire the magnificent view of the Atlantic Ocean. Then, we will continue to Sagres, a fishing port, where we will visit the Fortress on Sagres Point. As we continue along the coastline, we will reach Cabo Sao Vincente and the city of Lagos, where we will get to sample delicious seafood. Afterwards, we will return to the hotel in the afternoon before getting a chance to go swimming.

Day 11 Lagos - Setubal - Serra da Arrabida - Lisbon (320 km)

In the morning, we will take a last look at the water while we travel along the coast on our way back to Lisbon. During the journey, we will stop in Setubal, a major port and industrial center. Then we will take the scenic route over the Arrabida Mountain Range, which will provide us with amazing views of Lisbon as we approach the city from high above.
