Day 1 Lisbon - Caceres - Seville (524 km)
In the morning, we will depart from Lisbon and drive across the border into Spain until we reach Caceres, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we will spend some time exploring. Afterwards, we will continue to Sevilla, where we will enjoy dinner and spend the night.
Day 2 Seville
We will tour Seville in the morning, visiting the Parque de Maria Luisa, the Plaza de Espana, the Seville Cathedral, La Giralda, and Santa Cruz, the city's old Jewish Quarter. We may take an optional tour to the Royal Alcazar of Sevilla, or spend the rest of the afternoon in Seville at our own leisure.
Day 3 Seville - Cordoba (143 km)
In the morning, we will head to Cordoba, visiting the Mosque-Cathedral, the Jewish Quarter, and more. Then, we will have the rest of the day free to spend at our own leisure.
Day 4 Cordoba - Ronda - Marbella (230 km)
On our way to Marbella, we will stop in the village of Ronda to see the famous Puento Nuevo Bridge. After some free time here, we will continue to the Costa del Sol until we reach Marbella, where we will eat dinner and spend the night.
Day 5 Marbella - Tarifa - Tangier - Fez (544 km)
After breakfast, we will head to Tarifa, where we will board a ferry to cross the Strait of Gibraltar, landing in the Moroccan city of Tangier. We will then continue to Fez, where we will spend the night.
Day 6 Fez
Today, we will go sightseeing in Fez, seeing fantastic locations like the Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarter, the Gate of Bab Bou Jeloud, and the Medina. We will also see the Medersa, which is one of the oldest universities in the world, the Karyouine Mosque, and more. In the afternoon, guests can explore the Medina on their own.
Day 7 Fez - Meknes - Rabat - Tangier (408 km)
Today, we will eat breakfast and depart to Meknes to take a panoramic tour of this imperial city. Then, we will move on to Rabat, the nation's capital, where we will visit the Mausoleum of Mohamed and Hassan Tower. Afterward, we will go to Tangier for the night.
Day 8 Tangier - Marbella (153 km)
After breakfast, we will board the ferry and return to Marbella, where we will enjoy dinner and settle into our hotel accommodations for the night.
Day 9 Marbella - Granada (180 km)
After breakfast, we will drive to Granada, where we will visit the Alhambra, the massive fortress complex built by the former Arab rulers of southern Spain. We may also take an optional trip to the Caves of Sacramonte and see a special flamenco show.
Day 10 Granada - Toledo - Madrid (433 km)
We will depart Granada for the imperial city of Toledo, the crossroads of medieval Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. We will eat lunch and enjoy a sightseeing tour through the city's narrow streets. Afterward, we will return to Madrid in the late afternoon or early evening.
