Day 1 Las Vegas-Grand Canyon-Las Vegas(551 miles)

This is one of the more popular tours from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon. On this day long excursion you get to fly the length of this masterpiece of nature all the way to the South Rim. We begin our trip with a convenient pickup at your Las Vegas hotel. After a short drive you will check in at the airport before boarding the airplane and fly over some of the greatest desert scenery in the Western United States. The large glass windows of the aircraft allow for great viewing and picture taking during the flight which takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minute before landing at the Grand Canyon National Park Airport.

A comfortable air conditioned tour bus will transport you on your journey as we continue our tour into the Grand Canyon National Park. You will learn about this beautiful national park from a well-informed guide as your tour bus driver takes you to views of the canyon from the deepest, widest and most panoramic points at the South Rim. A light box meal is provided for your convenience.

Free time is provided so you can see the exhibits featuring Indian and Western artifacts as you walk through the historic Grand Canyon Village district area. Here you will see the landmark hotel, "El Tovar" an elegant western parks hotel which opened in 1905. Make sure you see the log and wood-frame train depot and Hopi House, the first give shop opened in the Grand Canyon more than 100 years ago.

You will be returned to the airport for your return flight to Las Vegas where at the conclusion of your flight, you will be returned to your hotel so you can enjoy the rest of what Las Vegas has to offer.
