We had a fun and exciting trip!! Our tour guide Ken was excellent. We were picked up at our hotel in the morning and we were off to this exciting trip. Some snacks,coffee and water were provided before the trip. Winter time is definitely the best time to visit Valley of fire because of the temperature. It was a very good day trip to be away from the Las Vegas strip.
This tour was by a TakeTours partner. I got to sit in the front with the guide/driver, Jurgen. The tour was very good, it took us to different areas and the landscape all looked different. Sandwich lunch was included which was nice. The weather and temperature was perfect in December. You don't need a coat, just a fleece jacket will do so that you can take off later in the day. We did get a short hike in, which is not part of the tour at one of the stops because the group wanted to do it. I enjoyed viewing the petroglyps and interesting rock formations. At the end of the tour, Jurgen let us sit in the driver seat for a photo opportunity. Overall, good tour. I would recommend it.
