Day 1 Las Vegas

Welcome to the U.S.A.! This tour will begin when guests have met at the specified departure location in Las Vegas. We will start with a Welcome Meeting at 6:00pm today. Guests should look for a note in the hotel lobby or ask at the reception desk to learn the location of this meeting. At the meeting, we will go over all the necessary information for the days ahead.

Day 2 Las Vegas - Death Valley(149 miles)

We will spend most of today driving through Death Valley and across the Eastern Sierra. One of the hottest deserts on the planet, temperatures in Death Valley can reach record breaking levels in the summer. The National Park includes a wealth of geological phenomena, including large sand dune formations, sculpted rocks, isolated valleys, and volcanic craters. The canyons and mountain walls change color with the changing sunlight. The elevation fluctuates from 85 m below sea level near Badwater Point (the lowest point in the US) to 3765 m above sea level at Telescope Peak. We will stop at the visitor center and, heat permitting, take a walk on the stunning salt flats.

Death Valley is a region of the Mojave Desert which has the distinction of being the lowest and driest area of North America. The hottest temperature ever recorded on Earth, occurred here.

Day 3 Death Valley - Yosemite National Park(257 miles)

Today we will drive west, travelling over the Tioga Pass (snow levels permitting) and into the heart of the Sierra Nevada. Our destination is Yosemite National Park, one of the most famous in the USA, featuring colossal granite cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and redwood trees that attract visitors from all over the world.

Yosemite National Park in central California is best known for the amazing granite cliffs of the Yosemite Valley as well as the towering Yosemite Falls and Sequoias. Millions of people every year journey to this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 4 Yosemite National Park

We will have the entirety of today free to get out and explore Yellowstone National Park. There are plenty of hiking routes we can take, each varying in steepness and difficulty. We will also have many non-hiking activities available to us, such as bicycling around Yosemite Valley, visiting the park's museum, photo gallery, shops, restaurants, or just walking the trails on the valley floor. In the heat of the summer, we can float down the Merced River to relax, followed by sipping a few drinks at the park's café.

Today, we will leave behind Yosemite and head west towards San Francisco, a chilled-out city by the bay with a vibrant, multi-cultural heart. We can catch a tram to visit the waterfront, feast like kings and queens in Chinatown, or peruse the zany artwork in the SoMa district.

San Francisco, the heart of central California's Bay Area, is famous for its iconic Golden Gate Bridge, its unique culture, and its position at the forefront of technological innovation. Beautiful weather and waterfront views await visitors as well!
