Day 1 Las Vegas - Monument Valley - Grand Canyon - Las Vegas(805 miles)
Today, we will leave Las Vegas, driving past Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam on our way to the Grand Canyon. Once we are at the Grand Canyon airport, we will board a small plane for a flight to Monument Valley, where we will take a tour led by a knowledgeable local Navajo guide. Once we return to the Grand Canyon, we will visit the Bright Angel Lodge before returning to Las Vegas.

(Passing By)Lake Mead is the reservoir formed by the Hoover Dam. When at full capacity, it is the largest reservoir in the United States. It is a popular recreation spot for fishermen, boaters, hikers, sightseers, and much more.
Monument Valley in Arizona is home to exquisite desert scenery and immense geological formations that can be seen for miles around. The valley lies within the range of the Navajo Nation Reservation and is accessible from U.S. Highway 163.
Considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon was carved over 17 million years by the Colorado River. This breathtaking, 18-mile-long canyon has been stunning visitors for hundreds of years.

Departure & Return
Pickups in Las Vegas take place at major hotels on the Strip. Exact pick-up stop and time will be provided upon reconfirmation 24 hours prior to tour.

A minimum of five people may be required for a tour to depart. That is not five in your group, but a total of five.
Depending on the number of people, the plane to be used will be either a six passenger or 10 passenger airplane. On very rare occasions a 19 to 22 passenger airplane, or a four passenger airplane, may be used.
All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book airline tickets until you have received the confirmation.
Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Please note that in the winter months snow or other bad weather may result in tour itineraries being changed without notice, or even tours being canceled in extreme weather. Should a cancellation occur the only amount we will refund is the cost of the portion of the tour that is canceled, or a refund of the entire tour price if the tour itself is canceled.
